Did you vote for CBE trustee? I'm clueless for that one.

Could you please provide me some information on why you came up with that decision. I have looked at the websites but really don't know how to make a decision as well.

I wish I could add some real insightful reason as to why I went with her, she is the incumbant and based on some very light internet research most people seem happy with what she has done on the board.

So rather than spoil that ballot I went with her.

Is it on the same ballot? I seem to recall previously abstaining voting for trustee because I had no info on the people running, and it was on a separate ballot meaning I could vote for mayor and alderman, while not voting for trustee and not spoiling the ballot.

Nope, separate ballot for mayor, alderman, and school trustee.

The trustee ballot is separate (as are the mayoral and aldermanic ballots)

If anyone is interested in my thoughts on some of these other wards they can PM me. I don't know candidates in every ward and my opinion is just that. I have Meg many though and can give my thoughts if you are interested.

Alternatively you could email the candidates directly. Many will reply to even the most basic "why should I vote for you" kind of question and base your decision on that.

It goes with out saying that in 11/13 that Victor Lough is the best man for the job! CP to the rescue for those yet to make that decision!!

Some very basic research done in Ward 12, Malik Amery seems like a nice guy and competent, and after having met and talked with the current trustee while at a school function, I left feeling sure she would be better off in a different line of work...and so would I and my kids and you and your kids and...

Not only were those debates informative but they were HILARIOUS.

McIvor/Barb arguing over who get's blame/credit and then Nenshi interrupts and says how this is the problem with the current council. Queue mass applause. Priceless!

McIvor was getting pissed about the double teaming in the McIvor/Barb/Nenshi debate too.
Nenshi got triple teamed in the traffic debate and then got an applause at the end.

It's hard to say if Nenshi is pulling ahead or if his supporters are just the most vocal.

I know there's a lot of Nenshi supporters on here. Just wanted to make an appeal for donations to his campaign. The big factor for Nenshi in the final week will be advertising - those who hear his message much more often than not get behind him. Particularly in the last weeks this is expensive. I know many on here have already made donations, if you have the ability to spare a bit more, no matter how small, it will help put him over the top. Those who haven't made a donation, think about it!

If you're a Barb or Ric supporter - don't make a campaign donation.

Made my donation to Nenshi this afternoon. Nothing big; enough to take care of the junk food budget at the Naheedquarters for a day. Have never made a donation to any political candidate in any election before today.

I disagree. They should definitely make a donation to Nenshi's campaign. That's the best way to support either of them.

Just passing it on: Oscar says Fech you if you don't donate to his campaign. Can you believe it?
