anyone else see this:

Bobcats coach Frank Solich summed up it nicely: "Obviously we needed to tackle the guy with the ball, not the mascot."
Hanning said he thinks the reaction to the tackle has been "a little blown out of proportion."
"Either everybody loved it or everybody hated it. It's never been anything in the middle," he said.
"I think I planned it pretty well ... and I definitely would have done it again."

Seems like a mascot fail to me.

The mascot thing is awesome... It would have been better if Brutus would have been all alone instead of running with someone. The Ohio mascot had to make sure not to hit them. All in all a little mascot rough housing is fun to watch.

They could not schedule horse crap teams.

Nothing you can do except replace them with an FCS when they back out.

The Big 10 may have the single weakest one day schedule in the history of conferences today. I was watching 3 different games and started to see the cupcakes so i looked up the rest of em.

yikes.

Austin Peay at Wisconsin
Ball State at Iowa
N. Colorado at Michigan State
C. Michigan at Northwestern
Toledo at Purdue
Temple at Penn State
Akron at Indiana
N. Illinois at Minnesota

Usually I can throw on the Big-10 Network and find a half decent game on before the big ABC/CBS afternoon games start, but today is ridiculous.

8 MAC and 2 FCS teams are on the schedule.

The Big-10 and the SEC are the worst culprits of the cupcake scheduling. Fortunately there's a handful of teams in those conference (LSU, Ohio State, Iowa, Bama) who try to mix some legitimate competition in there.

I forgot to add Ohio St. is hosting E Michigan while Michigan hosts powerhouse Grambling State as well.

Just awful. And thats a "power conference" according to some? Not with that nonsense.

Pretty nervous for this game as a Bama fan. But also happy that I get to watch them for the first time this year.

Not ideal, but the Razorbacks are as fired up as possible for this game. Hopefully McElroy can get a couple of first downs at least and let things calm down ...

... I hope haha.

I thought you were a Sooner fan? Or are you a Sooner fan and a Bama fan?

No, I am not a Sooner fan.

I don't really dislike teams though, so I may have cheered for them in certain game situations.

What's Arkansas doing? Everything going so well 3rd and 4 then they decide to goof around at the line of scrimmage out thinking themselves.
