Awesome vid, thanks for posting! I am really looking forward to the breakdown of the cities into sections, to try and compete on a smaller scale as I can't compete with the big fish. Obviously Calgary has breakdowns, will Edmonton as well?

Yep, in Calgary you can pick any quadrant or the city itself. For Edmonton we just have the whole city but we can easily break it down in to quadrants. Basically anytime you have seen a message about a person being a lord, that is an area we have already defined.

That's funny, I thought that was just you calling your business partner/friend a derogatroy term. Didn't clue in that he was a poster on this board named Captain Chuckles.
Data use is low. If you are just sitting there taking territory about 6kb a minute or 360kb an hour (1/3 of a MB), a bit more if you are looking at reports or zooming out far and moving around the map. So much less than hitting some web pages with images.
With all of your updates, are these data statistics still reasonably the same?
Regional Leaderboards:
Having trouble taking over the entire world? Now you can narrow it down a bit with regional leaderboards. If your region isn't listed, please email support@bnid.ca and we will add it to the list.
Alliances
Now you can take on the world with your posse! Your nightly production of resources is shared amongst those in your alliance, so you can share your wealth or get a little help from your friends. Territories owned by alliances will be indicated by the alliance color as well. Watch your climb to world domination with the alliance leader board.
In-game Messaging
Have you been dying to chat with some of the people you've been playing with? Now you can. Just add them to your friends list, and start chatting.
No-Purchases World
You asked for it, we've given it to you. Don't like that people can blow money and stock up on resources. Then play in a purchase free world. Just select "Earth - No Purchases" in the world selection screen.
New look and feel
We've tightened somethings up, moved some things around, and added more features!
Twitter integration
Brag to your friends and followers about your status in OTW, do a little trash talking, or just tweet it with a local # to get more players in your area.

Just wanted to drop by and say awesome job BNID on the update. The game looks amazing, the new updates are just sick. Ironic it came about 90 minutes after I wrote a review on iTunes (gave it 5 stars anyway, but could have bragged up the new stuff too).
And also, wanted to apologize to people for being such a dick about it earlier, I'm just an extremely competitive person by nature. Even a small app gets to me, so I realized I needed to just take a step back and take it for what it is - just a time killing game. So to Jolinar, Republic of Awesome, and anyone else I annoyed in the process - my apologies. It won't happen again. I might still trash talk but it'll just be in a gameplay way.
All the best in the new OTW.

When I went into 'intel' and sent my alliance member a message, it removed the grid when I went back to the conquest map.

Hey KTrain, just wondering what is happening in my game...
The GPS doesn't track too well when I'm out of the city limits. Usually it will find the closest cell tower in the nearest town and just leave me there. My google maps usually does fine when I'm out of town. What gives?
