Still frustrating that the AI is dumb. They'll just keep the puck and circle around until you tell them to pass, but you're not always open. Wish they'd pass to other players more.

I refuse to play the demo anymore, I want to be excited for the game when it comes out, so I don't want to lose interest (it probably won't happen soon).

Also, I saw a video on youtube of some guy repeatedly pressing RS for fake-shot, and the defenders (on Pro and Rookie) would just watch him and not poke or hit. Hopefully EA fixes this, so during EASHL, CPU defenders don't stand around like pylons.

I got an interference penalty for bumping the goalie... and I fell down like NHL08/09 too.

So it seems to be the same as before, plus penalties.

If you play it over and over again the draft order changes. Only on the first time do the Islanders have the first pick.

I thought that was weird... maybe they traded up to get me because I was such a highly touted prospect. Better than Crosby is what I am hearing.

The 'hardcore' mode is pretty stupid IMO, it just makes the players look ######ed when they can't even make a simple pass to the blueline on the PP, even when everyone is open.

Yeah hardcore passing is quite hard when you don't know where your teammates are at. Plus you have to hold onto the pass button in order to do a hard pass, but then by the time you passed the puck it's too late.

I am sticking away from hardcore, I tried it for a period and it was so ######ed I had to turn it off. Sure it is harder, but everytime I would go to pass there would be a .5 second delay, and my pass would never make it. Stupid.

The developers said it would take 30 games for a player to be comfortable with it. I haven't played it yet, but you may not be giving it a fair shake!

Anyone have any experience with taking a receipt from EB games to a different location for pickup?

I prepaid at southland, but realized i have a $70 credit at chinook mall that counts at EB games. So i would prefer to take my souhtland receipt to chinook

I enjoyed hardcore alot on 1 player, not at all tho when playing with a friend.

The pass delay is very hard to put up with, but its becuase they want to "charge" your passes.

Overall I enjoy it on both O and Defense

True, but like TSXCman said, there is the delay because you have to "charge" the pass to make a hard pass, I just want to make hard passes all the time, for the most part. I just won't want to learn to use it, I want them so that the AI knows to make a hard pass or a soft pass. I hate how the default is "soft and barely moving" pass.

Another interesting thing about the "Battle for the Cup" mode, is only the first time is it 2-0 Pens entering the 3rd. I did it a couple times after and one time it was 6-1 for Detroit going into the 3rd. Heh.

Should be Thursday when the store updates - normally between 3-6 our time.
