I didn't like Jamie at first, but the guy is very knowledgeable and has a relaxing tone of voice, which is great for baseball...ie vin scully

I love Campbell. Definitely echo the relaxing tone comments.

Guy grew up a Jays fan and knows the team inside and out. Always enjoy watching Sportsnet with him calling the game.

Scutaro singles, followed by hill striking out. Go Rios! He sure is picking it up as of late. Which is more than I can say about the franchise player not named Roy.

We need one game here. Bear Down!

Well this has been a carbon copy of the last bunch of Jay seasons. This team puts together a very nice streak, goes into Boston or New York for a big series and get beat down. It really does show the lack of leadership on this team.

I was trying not to put much into this series especially with the way TSN 2 played it up. But to have the jays bats put up this kind've effort against a divison rival is really disconcerning. I've seen way to many hitters being over aggresive and out front.

That being said it is only two games and the jays even down 1-0 tonight could get a big win tonight. It just seems to familiar to the last decade of jays baseball

Wow, the Jays just want to get away from Fenway.

Pitching and hitting have gone down the drain. 3-0 now.

Jays leave two on base in the first and get a weak pop up from Lind.
And then it gets ugly right away for the jays when the sox come up to bat.

I agree
As much as it was a tough catch to make, Rios looked pathetic going after that.

Yes, Rios is much less aggressive; he could have caught that ball.

And the at-bat by Bay just shows how the Red Sox get tons of calls at home.

What's the over under on how many people the jays are going to leave on base tonight? This has been one frustrating series. Still if Ray can settle down this is still a game the jays can come back in.

Anybody else want to go into your tv and punch Eckerselly (sp?) In the face? I know he's subbing in but my god he's brutal.

He says all the jays have to say about Ray is "meh" then arnsberg talks up the kid.

Doesn't help that Ray and Lester are getting different strike zones.

Tallet, Cecil and Ray walk into historic Fenway Park and come out with 0 (I know the game isnt over) wins - who would have thought? Does anyone else think that if Doc had been the starting pitcher of this three game set, this series may have been a little different than what it is? (outside of the obvious answer of we would have one win). Doc just seems to have this aura about him, that after his start, the rest of the staff just follow. Wouldn't look too much into this, as we go into Atlanta and then Baltimore, 4 of 6 wins isnt expecting alot. While a possible sweep at the hands of boston hurts, the staff has been a little wide-eyed (Cecil and Ray) and the bats have cooled off. There are still many reasons to be optimistic about this club.

Ps - do you think Cecil has forgotten about the homeruns from last night? Like Eck, but man I think that was his only contribution of last night. I am not sure how much of a homer the guy is, unprepared - yes, homer - no? Was a blow out game, what were you expecting? Heard him say a few times with Lester hanging a couple deuces over the heart of the plate, he's was lucky that ball wasnt tagged out of the yard. I would summarize Eck as being a fair announcer, who isnt willing to give much credit for the simple plays that go on....

Lind had a great fastball to hit there. My lord was that a disgusting at bat by Rios though.

It's one thing to have young pitchers struggle @ fenway but when your bats give you a pathetic effort like that it's another.

We'll after playing the yankees and sox we know where we stand in the american east.

Not to mention an all star pitcher refusing a trade to your team!
