Reed has played over 80% of his ABs @ CF.

Well looks like the Jays will play Russian Roullette with Ryan again....I might get a backup in place for the 9th if he can't get one of the first two hitters.

They salvage a win for Halladay today. Ryan mowed down the bottom of that O's order pretty easily. Doc's been pretty solid here with what 5 straight wins now after a 3-5 start to the season. I think he's on pace to get like 30 descisions this year.

He'd be third in line for CF here behind Wells and Rios.

No kidding, very impressive after a wrist injury, nice to see the power as well. Big win today, love seeing Rios get the heck out of the three hole, zero homers in over a month and Gibbons has him hitting third, idiot.

Wells always starts very strong and fades. Maybe he needs more rest during the season.

I believe its just the opposite, Wells usually starts slow and picks up later....

Anyhow it was great to see him back.

This team disgusts me with the inability to cash in runs, only the Jays could blow that game tonight. This team disgusts me.

Another game, another brutal loss.

The Jays have shown a painful inability to execute for a couple of seasons now. It's just really hard to watch.

No walk-off wins yet this year (0-25 when trailing after the 7th as well) and 0-4 at the Rogers Centre in extra innings.

I should know better. Every time this team looks like it is on the verge of doing something, they start one of these streaks.

Last night was inexcusible. First of all, no need for Eckstein to be getting a huge jump. If you end up in a strike 'em out, throw 'em out, so be it. Make sure the pitcher goes to the plate!! (It was a balk, but thye rarely call that anyway). Bases loaded, nobody out, double play. Then bases loaded and two outs in the same inning and nothing!!

When does hockey start?

Dustin McGowan throws a complete game as the Jays win 3-1.

Not a terribly good offensive effort but Dusty was just blazing out there. Still in the 90s on his 120 somethingth pitch.

The high 90s to boot. A 97mph fastball in the 7th had me asking myself if he came on in a a relief roll.
