As has been discussed here a lot last year and early this year, Jays have to get more than 2 runs to win a game. Now they need 3 more but it could be tough getting even 1.

Dodgers aren’t going in their bullpen until absolutely required.

Excellent from Gausman.

Blame the Jonas bros for an unnecessary 30 second concert.

What an outing from Gausman. I was worried at the flyballs and ended up biting him.

Gotta string together some ABs. Yamamoto looks unhittable. This has the feeling of the Mariners game. Hopefully another magic 7th.

I know he’s a good pitcher but we need better plate discipline.

Jays have had better exit velocity and have a higher xBA. They're getting to Yamamoto, they just haven't found the gaps.

They were doing well the first couple innings working up the pitch count but too many quit outs the last couple innings

I don't know if I would have did the cancer tribute in the middle of the game either. It might be too emotional for players who are affected and risk throwing them off. I would have did it before.

Unlucky hard hit balls by the jays tonight. 3 or 4 hits that easily could have been singles/doubles that went right at defenders.

Then it wouldn’t be televised.
It’s been done for a while and everyone in the game knows it’s coming. Affects both teams.

I really thought Yamamoto would've been the best matchup for the Jays. Looked like they got to him early. But he's been incredible since the 3rd.

Yep. The longer he goes the quicker the innings are getting.
Still time, but not much!

Yamamoto only has 5 strike outs. He had 4 after 2 iirc. Jays are making contact.

For sure.

Can you imagine something like that in the middle of a Stanley Cup finals game? Weird.
