Over the last three seasons, including this one:

1. McDavid 120 247 367
2. MacKinnon 120 233 353
3. Kucherov 102 247 349

Then you can make other 'knob and blocking' jokes, but those are rather uncouth and offensive so we'll leave that there.
How many knobs could a knob lock, Locke, if a Knoblauch could lock knobs?

At least the Nug can play the game on his own merit but that 100 point season was a fluke.
Rob Brown 115 points in 68 games.

I wonder how many points I could have had playing on a line with Mario. I mean I would have been 9/10 that season, and had never played hockey - but I'm sure Mario could have gotten me a good 80 points.

And if you look at 5v5

1) Mackinnon 73 117 190
2) McDavid 64 105 169
3) Pastrnak 78 88 166
4) Kucherov 55 109 164
5) Crosby 56 101 157

Mackinnon has hit a bit of a different level at 5v5. Mackinnon and McDavid are the two best players in the world and it's easily debatable who is number 1.

Its not debatable at all who is #1.

It's Mackinnon.

Full stop.

Thought it was time to check in on the progress of the oilers' seven sure-fire 30-goal scorers. With 18 games left...
  1. Leon Draisaitl - done!
  2. Connor McDavid - 24 goals. 6 to go. Go get 'em, Champ!
  3. Zach Hyman - 22 goals, 8 to go, a 36-goal season pace for the balance of the year. Sounds doable.
  4. Jeff Skinner - 11 goals, 19 to go. Can he manage an GPG pace? Tune in to find out!
  5. The Tenderness - 16 goals, 14 to go. 63 goal pace for the balance! Must be doable for this first overall pick who was picked ahead of scrubs like Kucherov, Gaudreau, Scheifele, Landeskog, and Miller.
  6. Viktor Arvidsson - 8 goals. 22 to go. Great prediction for someone that last hit 30 goals in 18-19.
  7. Evander Kane - More likely to have 30 creditors than 30 goals.

Sure would be something if the great McDavid was below 30 goals on the season

Pretty sure he won't hit 100 either.

That monster raise is looking more and more worth it lol.

As a Flames fan I'm a bit concerned to be honest. I was hoping his play would start to fall off AFTER he signs a monster contract that handcuffs the Oilers.

I sure hope he is. Then someone can find the tweet that Spector did saying something around "are we really celebrating 30 goals in a season" when Ovi hit 30 last year.

If the NHL goalie thing doesn't work out long term for Skinner, he can always join the Australian Olympic breakdancing team.

Here’s the thing. Oilers have no option except to offer max on July 1. If Mavi feels that he is declining, he will sign. If oilers don’t offer max, well that’s a real slap in the face and Mavi won’t sign.

Anything else indicates a negotiation and the possibility that Mavi walks.

Nom nom nom delicious!
