Gabriel's stay at IW ends tonight at the hands of Arthur Fils 6-2 6-2 - Just couldn't seem to get out of the blocks tonight (lost the first four games of the match) and Fils played very well tonight.

Really looking forward to watching Victoria Mboko at the Miami Open, she's into another ITF final on Sunday at the W75 event in Portugal.

Yikes, a pretty terrible match by Felix just now losing to Brooksby 6-4 6-2.

Denis is just warming up on the same court where Felix just lost, hopefully Shapo will have some better luck.

Just when you think he’s turning the corner, he lays an egg like that against a guy that’s ranked 937 in the world.

He should be much better in Miami with the faster courts - I don't think IW is ever going to be a happy hunting ground for Felix. But yeah, after Miami clay season beckons and it will be hit-and-miss for FAA.

Better outcome for Denis as he wins in straight sets 6-3 6-2 over Adam Walton. I'd like to say Shapo played well today, but he was pretty sketchy, fortunately his opponent provided plenty of unforced errors. Denis could play Charlie next.

And Leylah is also one and done at IW - Hope her dad doesn't cuss her out too much, might be time for a new/real coach.

Victoria Mboko claims the W75 title in Portugal with a straight sets win over Harriet Dart. Live rankings has her at a new career high of #161 and she just continues to play fantastic tennis in 2025.

That was a much needed win for Rune just coming back from a set down to eliminate Ugo Humbert. Sets up a tasty match with Oikos next.

Who knew the secret to fresh Yogurt was a blacked out Babolat. Also I guess finally splitting with Pops played a factor

There certainly is a trend on the men's tour to switching to more powerful racquets as well as looking for the string (or possibly hybrid string set-up) that will work best. Part of the reason also for the switch is how bad the tennis balls are post-COVID, a lot of players are complaining about how quickly they fluff up and just how hard they have to hit the ball to get the results they desire.
As far as Oikos is concerned, getting rid of Pops should have been done a couple of years ago, he was a major distraction and was doing more harm than good.

Watanuki a couple of years ago defeated Felix at the DC tourney and was very impressive. After battling some injuries, he appears to be in top form once again.

Jack Draper played some fine tennis earlier today eliminating Brooksby in straight sets. He'll play the winner of Canadian-Chilean Alejandro Tabilo vs. Taylor Fritz next.

I feel for Shapo, like he's playing well (okay, too many double faults), but Charlie is just en fuego at the moment.
