I don't think it was because the Flames were in town, I think most are doing it opening night.

How bad is Barrie that Bahl beat him out to play tonight.

Might be a good time to swap Zary and Pops. Don't think pops has been his usual self tonight.

Vladar has been a bum. As expected, though.

Yep
Its going to take much more than a couple of years to be relevant again

Too bad they lost their heads early but at least they've reeled it in. Just claw back one shot/goal at a time.

They don't have the scorers to come back but at least it's not ugly for the entire game for us.

That was a silly little shot by Weegar right into Silovs. No chance of scoring and now Canucks get to change

Yup. Pachal has a good camp but we need to pump Barrie for some trade value and he will help this terrible PP.

If the oilers were scoring all the goals in the other game we’d be getting video updates on all of them in this broadcast

Flames were fine until the hit and the Flames got the extra penalty on the scrum.

I want Zary to be at centre. I think that's best for the future of the team. This team needs good, young centres by any means. (Pospisil can play centre too, but I'd definitely like to see Kadri, Backlund, Zary and Pospisil down the middle.)

I don't even think it's an issue that the Flames don't have scorers. The passes have all been just slightly off. They've missed two pretty easy tap ins, amongst all the really smart right-idea cross ice feeds that are all just slightly off the mark

I think Vladar has looked good, and that's why he wasn't pulled. At least 2 of the goals against weren't his fault.

The D can get better sooner than later though.

Crushnikov and Brz will be kicking down the door to be in the NHL within a year IMO.
