Woah, just turned on Players much earlier than planned and looks like 4th round moved way up. Leaders already through 3. Clouds are looking iffy, so some weather on the way.

Late yesterday afternoon they became worried about wind and weather on Sunday so they decided to go split tees and threesomes.

The playoff tomorrow will be great. I wish they had time to wrap it up tonight though. I thought JJ was out of it when they came back from the weather delay and he scored a bogey but he fought back hard.

Damn, 7am Calgary time for the playoff. I'll just see what happened when I get up, I guess.

Rory birdies first PO hole, Spaun with par on the 16th hole.
Spaun then hits tee shot into the water on 17.
This is probably over already.

If Spaun had finished like this yesterday, he would have gone from 2nd to maybe 9th or 10th and cost himself $2 million in prize money.

Aside from nerves/adrenaline, I have to believe it was Spaun seeing that Rory hit 9 iron, and him taking the same club not knowing Rory hit a 3/4 shot.

I remember reading that Sam Snead could hit 100 yards with every club in his bag, and would use different clubs to fool his playing partner. Compounded with a strong wind, this would be an effective strategy.

He hit an 8 iron.

Both players had their distances dialed in on the range using Trackman so he never should have been paying attention to what Rory did. Now he says it was a wind gust but really he didn't hit a good shot for the entire playoff so probably nerves.

Spaun was about 2 or 3 inches from a birdie on 18 yesterday that would have won it.

Masters this week, I am so excited to plunk down and watch some golf. Hopeful a Canadian takes a run this year.

On that note it'd be nice if Adam Hadwin made some noise on tour again one day.

Bernhard Langer's 41st and final Masters this year.

2 wins, 7 other top 10's and a run of 19 consecutive made cuts in a row.

I'm probably a homer but I think that Conners has a decent opportunity this week to make something good happen.

I hope you guys are right. I don’t see a major winner in him, his short game can’t hold up in a major on Sunday. But he has played well at Augusta.

I’m not god at predictions but it’s fun seeing some of the LIV fat cats play in actual competition. Bryon, Brooks or Rahm could all win.

That was a few days ago. When I checked last night it was 41 to 1 for Conners.

Am I wrong thinking this is the least hyped major in a while? Some of that is no Tiger to gas up I suppose, but just kinda feels like it's gotten no attention at all and we're less than 48 hours away.
