New power rankings out on TSN and yes I know power rankings are stupid and pointless but the Oilers are ranked 12th@&$&&
The Flames are ranked 21st I think and the statement is made that they are 21 and 22 on many stats league wide so the Flames are placed perfectly.
The Oilers on the other hand? Well they have won 4 in a row and… well…. McDavid.

When they say "the players" do they mean the wonder twins or do they have a vote in the locker room to see who should be the next goalie?

What adds a layer of fascination to the prospect of Merzlikins donning an Oilers jersey is the considerable respect Oilers players reportedly hold for him. Recognizing his strong performances in both the league and world championships, it seems the team is comfortable with the idea of Merzlikins guarding their net. This is not to say the players don’t like Jack Campbell. But, if a change is made, it sounds like the players wouldn’t be opposed to Merzlikins being the chosen replacement.

It's great that the players approve management's moves though. It would be tough if they were to disagree on who should be in net and butt heads.

What a trainwreck!

That's the thing, the Oilers have let their prospects develop in the AHL and they have all been disappointing. Their entire organization is putrid from top to bottom
