As I said. That’s great. But most teams, if not all teams have an answer.

The ones that don’t get steamrolled. That will get around the league too.

The flames have no answer.

You don’t need a plug like lucic shoving them and taking relation penalties.

Just let them chirp take dumb penalties. We can take the power play.

They are both cowards who won’t fight much anyways.

We have AJ Greer who can be physical.

The only thing I remember Lucic doing against the Oilers was throwing a big hit on McDavid in the playoffs. Outside of that, he didn’t do jack squat

Toughness is a thing, the Panthers showed it in the playoffs against softer teams like Toronto and Carolina. They were able to physically intimidate their skill guys. I remember seeing a statistic about Mathews' and Marner's average shot range in that series and it was something like double the normal, they became perimeter players.

But it has to be functional toughness, not someone like over the hill Lucic or Reeves (lol Treliving always behind the curve). Guys need to be able to play too not just punch faces or hit.

This is the key. Face punchers that can't play are no longer viable in today's NHL. The Panthers had legit NHL players like Bennett and Gudas (finished 1 and 2 in playoff hits) hitting Leafs players every chance they could. That's the type of toughness that intimidates teams.

He basically said “what is anyone here going to do?”

Insinuating that the Flames are a bunch of pussies.

No one did anything.

The same type of thing he always says, which you can see above is nothing special, but got way too far under the skin of some Flames fans.

Ah, yeah. That is pretty annoying and befitting of Kane. Thanks for the video link.

It took literally 5 seconds to Google Lucic fights vs Edmonton to disprove the "Lucic never did anything against the Oilers because they're buddies" narrative.

I'm not telling anyone they have to love Lucic but he did fight against the Oilers. Fans will always see and remember whatever supports their own narratives.
