Wonder if sabres are out. Signed Eric Johnson and Connor Clifton.

Someone needs to print that in huge letters and put it in Conroy's office.
It’s true. He did say that. And that is encouraging. Hopefully he could follow through.

The Pittsburgh offer is incredibly weak. If they are in the hunt next year, I think they could still circle back with a better offer. Perhaps their young guys might look better as well.
Just no point pulling the trigger for almost nothing now, even if you receive almost nothing later.

Can anyone please summarize the Pittsburgh offer, since Twitter sucks?

Alright! The Stars just dumped Colin Miller to NJD and Orlov signs with Carolina.

Hanifin dominos?

A first in 2025 doesn’t play until 2028 most likely

Conroy might not be employed by then . That’s part of the issue with rebuilding / trading for far out futures

I can't imagine that Johnston is on the table, especially not for Hanifin.

Conroy will still be employed, he'll just be POHO and Iggy will be GM.

That won't be happening, but a 1st and one of Bourque or Stankoven is good enough for me.

Don’t necessarily need to keep it, capital for later deals if you think it’s the best you can get for Hanifin right now.

Today doesn’t change things too much. Many contenders still need D

Yeah, including Vladar in that doesn’t make sense.

I’ll be shocked if we get anything decent for Hanifin. He’s butter soft, only shoots centre mass and is prone to giveaways at the worst times. Way over valued here.

Eklund is full of BS but he has linked Dumba to the Flames if they move Hanifin.

I agree he is overvalued at CP but he is worth a 1st (unconditional, no restrictions). He is a solid addition to a Dcorp. Leafs could use some D…. Same with Habs. Quite a few teams actually could use him. Wonder if Dallas or Minnesota are possibilities. Seattle could use another D.
