2026 World Junior Pool CHAMPION
A couple of questions about players for those who have better access to information. Last game Gilbert did not play and I've not seen Pospisil play since Dec 30.
Pospisil had an injury earlier, but returned and I've not heard anything since. I was pretty excited to see how he looked this year.
Gilbert was wearing a full shield but not injured in the last game I saw. I wondered if he'd been called up with Tanev injured, but haven't seen anything to suggest that.
Grateful for any info.

Gilbert was suspended after receiving a match penalty for an illegal check to the head of an opponent. He will miss Calgary’s games tonight (Jan. 24) and Wednesday (Jan. 25) vs. Ontario.
Mitch didn't actually sound too down on that one when we talked to him, but not the greatest showing at the Saddledome tonight.
