They had Robyn Regehr on couple of days ago and he gave a really long and interesting interview. They talked about everything from his life growing up, to his time as a player, and the current situation with the Flames. He also to a shot at the players last season who quit on the coach, in particular Huberdeau.
can you point out the timestamp? Because I listened to the clip where he calls out the team, and he doesn't mention any specific name. Is that an assumption by you or does Regehr call Huberdeau out by name?

He said that a player went to his agent and got him to make a statement. That was the Hubredeau comment, after Allan Walsh came out mid-season to whine about Sutter.
It happens 10 seconds into the 2:37 short clip

I may be recalling things incorrectly, but did Kadri's agent also not make a comment?

I don't remember that happening, but it certainly could have. The Walsh-Hubredeau thing was quite a big deal so I think it is pretty safe to say that is what he is addressing.
I don't buy it for a second that agents leak out anything unless they at the very least get the ok from their clients. Why potentially sabotage that relationship? Who wants to hire an agent that has a history of making life uncomfortable for the player? Yeah, I don't see Walsh just doing that on his own. I think Regehr is right, and that Huberdeau should have been more direct with Sutter. However, I will give him some slack simply because this is the first year with the Flames, and maybe as the 'new guy', he didn't feel like he either could or should have. It most certainly does raise questions, however.

Walsh literally tweeted a picture of Fleury with a sword through his back while the game was being played once.
I'm not sure he gets explicit buy in on this stuff.
But guys will stick with him because he's a good agent that will go to bat for his players.
I don’t think he gets the players to say word for word what he tweets but at the same time there is zero chance he tweets what he did about Fleury and Hubredeau if he hasn’t talked about it with them and they weren’t fine with it.

No doubt they have discussions about the players frustrations.
I wouldn't be surprised if he tweets it on his own accord though, and I'm sure it would 100% be after the player and him shared frustrations with management already.
Like I think Robyn Regehr is forgetting what Darryl Sutter is like as coach. He wouldn't even make changes the GM requested this season with player deployment, let alone listening to a player. You think Huberdeau didn't have a conversation with Sutter directly first? "Go in there and hash it out" lol easier said than done with Sutter.

Listened to the Regher interview from start to finish today. One of the best interviews I've heard any player give. Some things I agree with, some I don't, but he's allowed to have his opinion and he does a good job explaining it.
Loved the bits on the incompetence of Keenan and Feaster. Just goes to show the Flames really didn't have any direction at the time and how important it is to have competency that flows from the top.
Loved hearing how much of a pillar he's been in pretty much every community he's been a part of and how he had a plan for his career before, during and after. Wish he could have spoken about his unofficial rivalry with Hemsky more, but I suppose that usually the thing he gets asked about the most. Smart guy and I miss him on the team.

I think Regehr and Hubredeau are likely very different players and people, not saying one is better than the other just different approaches. I think that Regehr would handle things differently and probably feels that is the way everyone should approach things.
I also think it is quite possible that Hubredeau didn't have a conversation first, doesn't seem the approach many people take nowadays, and to be honest the same thing happened a lot in the past as well.
I hated Allan Walsh for a long time before Hubredeau so I am likely biased but whether Hubredeau did talk to Sutter or not the agent tweeting like that is stupid in either situation.
