I mean because Jimmy stinks running it is probably the smart move, but obviously Hackett is going to get killed tomorrow if they lose now after not even trying to end the game with your expensive ass QB for the second time in three games.

Perfect ending to the smelliest primetime game in recent history. Hackett is clearly Adam Gase redux, but hey he's 2-1!

Putting his defence up against Jimmy G maybe shows Hackett is a bit smarter than he's been made out to be.

Denver's defense is legit, only reason they're 2-1

3 weeks of the worst offensive decisions I've ever witnessed. Hackett is in way over his head

Kinda hard to judge the Broncos defense as legit when they've played the murderer's row of Geno Smith, Davis Mills and Jimmy G. Beating three backup level QBs doesn't mean much.

Not very good QB play this weekend. Tonight's game was a full serving of bad QB play. You kind of understand why the 49ers tried to move on from Garoppolo.

What a weird day in the NFL.

I want to take the Dolphins and Jags seriously, but it's hard considering their recent history...

What a weird game by the Bills. Bills were certainly the better team. Brain farts and injuries/heat cost them the game.

Even last year the Bill's had some of those Nuke LaLoosh tendencies where they lose focus and end up losing games they shouldn't. Very much like some of the Philip Rivers Chsrgers teams. It cost them getting a home game against KC in the playoffs last year. We will see if they can fix it earlier this year. When a team is as talented as the Bill's its only injuries and some self inflicted wounds that tend to trip them up.

Dolphins actually look like a good team. Jags are over-performing and will drop back to reality.

Bills have already crushed a team this year even with four turnovers. They certainly do have a predisposition to getting in their own way with mistakes. When they play clean like against Tennessee they are basically unbeatable. Although, even as a guy who doesn't like running the ball, asking Josh Allen to throw 60+ times in the Miami heat is a bit much. The fact they still can't get much a running game going is their one non-mental flaw right now. Great as Allen is, being predictable like that just allows the pass rush to tee off, and the Dolphins were getting good pressure yesterday. Should have worked in a few more screens and draws.

The Jags crushed their last two opponents, the Dolphins won by one play their last two wins. Not to say the Dolphins aren't a good team, but the Jags have professional coaching now, they are not going to be some gimme this year, and if Trevor takes the leap they could be a real problem.

Strength of opponents has to be considered where the Jags have played some pretty mediocre teams and a Chargers team that is far from being at 100% right now.

If they can keep up with Philly next week I'll start to warm up to the idea that the Jags might be a good team.

Strength of opponents in week three is pretty meaningless, if the Giants win tonight they are in the last of the unbeaten teams, but no one thinks they are good. We need a few more weeks before we can determine how good teams really are. But in general beating opponents like the Jags have the last two weeks is far more predictive of future success than beating teams in one score games (see: the Raiders last year versus this year). It's why the Eagles have been so impressive, they are crushing teams.

The NFL primetime scheduling always bothers me. I get the Cowboys are a popular team, but the Giants suck you already get a boatload of money, the ratings won't drop if you put better teams on. You had Brady vs Rodgers on the middle of the day, but the primetime games this week we get Steelers vs Browns, 49ers vs Broncos and the Giants vs Cowboys. Garbage.

I guess this works, although I would guess the second someone gets an ACL in the flag game that will be that.

The 4:15 game gets the most viewers that's why they get first pick. Rodgers vs Brady.
