Yeah Draisitle is definitely hurting badly. He can’t move.

And here we are, just give Tanev the series off, he could use 4 games of rest.

Tanev hurt - not playing
Draisatl hurt - playing

That alone tells you the depth of one team and one that has 2 players.

The penalty wasn't the hit I don't think...it was dropping the gloves while Kane's were glued on

Reminder: The Oilers are still paying Lucic while he's smashing McDavid like that haha

I felt like we took it easy on them after going up by the trinity too.

Shots 19-7.

I’d love to hear an Edmonton fan defend the officiating in that period. McDavid is an embarrassment to the sport. Any comparison to Crosby is an insult to Syd

That was a fantastic period of hockey.

It's the Flames vs McDavid and the 2 guys with big, orange armbands so far.

If the Flames don't get sucked into bad penalties (aka if the reffing is fair), then this should be how most periods go.

19-7 shots, Flames dominate the Oilers 5 on 5, and the Oilers only look dangerous if McDavid does something all by himself or on their PP.

Flames were physical, aggressive, and relentless. #### YEAH.

Perfect period other than 2 plays.

Wow, oilers will be better in the second. Flames gotta keep up their intensity

McDavid has never been hit that hard, and he got it twice that period.

Oilers are paper thin and it’s hilarious.

Only chance they have it winning is if M####face plays more minutes than ever. He is the only reason they’ve even made it this far.

Pros

Smith sucks
Top line moving
Big hits are going against the right guys

Cons

Oilers score on their only chance against a really bad line matchup
Koskinen is made of horseshoes
PP looks crap again
Refs love mcavi as usual

The grease won’t be that bad again in the series so I’m kind of disappointed that period results in just a 2 goal lead. Should have been 4+. Need to crush them.
