Good point. They look way too comfortable tonight.

So disappointing to make the drive for two 1-0 efforts.

The highly paid difference makers need to make a positive difference, this period.

Outside of Lindholm and Backlund, not much for 5 periods.

I thought he meant "get comfortable" as in this game will probably end up in an extended OT. Right before that they were talking about how this series has been a goaltending duel.

Scoring is one thing. But Flames have only let in one so far. Look at all the other series where teams have let in 3+. The Stars clearly don't want to be down 2-0 in the series. It's still anybody's game.

I personally would switch Tkachuk and Toff to start the 3rd

Not sure why the team hasn’t caught on to the Star’s forechecking strategy yet, but they better catch on quick because the Stars had their 3 best chances of the game from the Flames coughing it up.

Our defensemen have to start recognizing that the Stars are flooding their forecheckers to one side of the ice. So just reverse the puck D to D on the opposite side and voila, pressure relieved.

Expected them to compete. This game is an embarrassment.

We are leading the series 1-0 and have allowed 1 goal in 5 periods. Please don’t freak out. This is playoff hockey.

I was wearing a bad luck jersey for the first two periods. I wore it last game, so I thought the bad luck was gone, but clearly not. I think that should make the difference.

Mangiapane - Backlund - Coleman

That line is dominant.

The Flames are flat tonight. They’re pushing the boundaries of flaccid, as they say.

There is no doubt in my mind Oettinger is getting a shutout tonight.

Yeah, I'm as frustrated as everyone else on here, but deep down I have a feeling they're going to pull this out.

I'm trying to take a deep breath and getting ready to enjoy a meaningful period of playoff hockey, win or lose. Decades of cheering for this team have taught me not to take playoff hockey for granted. Sutter will get them fired up and I think Lucic is going to have a monster period.

Dallas has worked hard and played tight team defense. They also had a similar deflection that hit the post last game. A series of inches indeed.

Half the thread is complaining about what our offense hasn't done, when the Stars' scoring has been shut down just as hard as ours has. It's a tight series thus far, sticks in every single shooting and passing lane.
