Not me! I love Twitter and I generally think it’s great. When there are major world events happening, I’m not sure there’s a better place to be. It’s incredible.

Hockey news/info is great on there too. Just have to be careful with who you follow politically though, it can get pretty gross. Pretty easy to see how some people fall for so much of the conspiracy/propaganda stuff if you follow a certain type of political talk.

I'm insanely curious to see what Musk is going to do with Twitter. He didn't drop $40B to "save humanity" or whatever bull#### It was reported he informed advertisers about. He wants to make money, and it appears his first step is to trim the fat at Twitter corporate.

I think it's a good chance he will be doing something with crypto. Binance invested $500M into his acquisition and he is already a big proponent. I expect we'll see integrated payments with crypto through Twitter at some point now that Elon has acquired the user base.

I think he's going to pivot it towards a Time Tok style experience with easier and more pervasive brand marketing.

Also, I fully expect him to add an Edit button.

With regards to Trump I'm curious to see if he does get unbanned, does he go back? That would basically be admitting his Truth Social is a bust.. but I don't think he could resist going back to twitter.

Truth Social is bombing anyway. In terms of audience, attention and impact, he'd be stupid not to return to Twitter.

I fully expect Trumpism, disinformation, racism and so on to be turned up to 11 now that Musk has followed through. Because of course.

I believe Musk prefers to call it "citizen journalism".

Did Trump actually put any of his own money into Truth? Doubtful.
It is such a non-factor, I assume he will let it die and blame Nunes are any of the other useful idiots.

Honestly, reading the degenerate comments, and how frothing at the mouth both extreme sides get with their responses is part of the enjoyment I get out of twitter.

Seems like he wants to make something similar to WeChat. But trying to expand Twitter into a WeChat type "super-app" seems like it would be tougher than just building one from scratch (though being private I guess such an undertaking would be easier; but it's still a bigger boat to try and turn that way regardless even if there aren't the same shareholders to convince to do it).
