I feel like if we didn’t swing once this inning we would have 4 walks

True, but unfortunately the home plate umpire made that impossible for us due to his fireable offence’s all game long

Unwatchable garbage all because of some fat old useless piece of #### that still has too much say in the outcome of games.

Just finished the game on delay. One of the worst jobs of umpiring I have ever seen in my entire life. How much meth do you have to smoke before work to be THAT bad? Absolutely ruined the game.
Besides that we have some seriously bad auto-outs in the lineup right now and it is beyond frustrating to watch them continue to scuffle while seemingly doing nothing to change their approach at the plate.

I honestly don't even care for the victory today. I know the A's are going to be basement dwellers sooner or later this season with that poverty line-up. But man.. seeing blue jay fans go full leaf mode with the salt is a victory in itself. Obviously they scored 7 runs cause of bad officiating. This was like 2 wins in 1.

If there is one consistency. 75% of the 'miscalled strikes' the strike zone are on the outside while 25% on the inside. Just the A's pitchers had more of them. Generally strike zones seem to differ between umpire to umpire. Often times a pitcher will adapt to the new strike zone. Obviously not fair, but I doubt the A's paid off the ump for this.
edit: is there also a chart of left handed batters? Or do neither team have one?

Jeff Nelson or whatever his name is was trying to get into Angel Hernandez/Joe West territory today and may have actually exceeded them as far as incompetence goes. What a putrid performance for a so called professional umpire. I legit could’ve put on a fat suit and callled a better strike zone in that game. Utterly ridiculous.
