A normal QB would have just done a QB sneak. But i guess thats too hard for our 45 year old QB.

Why didn’t Dickenson have Maier in for that third down gamble. Beyond stupid to have Bo in shotgun in that situation. Beyond stupid!!

Mitchell is 31 and expensive.
Maier is 24 and cheap.

As bad as Bo was, tonight's game is on the coaching staff as the players were just not ready to play tonight and that was evident from the opening kick-off. The team got the Ti-Cats 3rd string QB and thought it was going to be a breeze and Hamilton stepped up and punched the Stamos right in the mouth. That's an awful way to go into the bye week.

Kian Schaffer-Baker should have never fallen to to the 4th round; should have been a first or second round pick. IMO he's the Riders best receiver.

It's painful. All I know is every time Maier is out there if feels fresh and exciting, with things moving down the field. When Mitchell is out there everything feels off and hopeless.

It's been coming. Every year they keep losing talent and had been able to only adequately reload but success has been dependant on solid QB play and Bo's probably been the worst Stampeder this season which cripples their chances of being competitive.

Yeah exactly, between the NFL and CFL FA they've been poached so bad...feels like every game there's an ex-Stamp making big plays against Calgary. Only so long they can have their talent pool pecked away at before you arrive at this point.
That said, Stamps have the best scouts in the league and have proven time & again to unearth talent, I still trust them to be able to do it again. It's just clearly going to be a couple bumpy years until that starts happening again, this team badly lacks talent. Especially at the "skill" positions.

Regarding Bo, my guess is he still hasn't fully recovered from the Hughes hit. Perhaps it was a mistake to take him off the 6 game list early. Anyhow I still think Bo has some good football left in him, kind of like how Burris had some of his best seasons after being traded away from Calgary, and Calvillo had some of his best years from 2008-2010, where he had some struggles in years prior to that.
Of course no one can tell the future, but there are some tough decisions ahead for Huf & co.

Mathematically no they aren't.
They are not a good football team though, so realistically they are dead in the water with half the season gone.
Winning out would probably get them 3rd place but with having to play the riders 3 times and the Lions twice....its over.
