That period was a whoopin. Great to see the push back from the boys. This has the potential to be a great team when they play on their toes.
Anyone know what happened to Dube?

Canucks got walked that period. Should be down three or four more! Hope the Flames keep the peddle to the metal in the third.

Oh baby what a bounceback period. Utter dominance.
Gotta think our improved depth made a huge difference after losing Dube because Ward was able to throw basically any combo out there and virtually every new line was creating non-stop chances.
Also, I love Lindy's karate punch celebration.

No offence to Gio but this is Rasmus' power play now.

Markstrom has gotta be feeling pretty good about choosing the Flames over the Canucks right now.

This is going to be a great ATL.
Big wraps for Marky as well only goal he let in was a deflection and he took some solid heat in the first period.
Rasmus with bombs from the point.
Tkachuk doing Tkachuk things.
Good times.

Tyler Myers has a $6M cap hit for another 3 seasons after this.

Much better period to say the least. Hopefully they’re prepared, can’t see Vancouver playing that flat again in the third.

Or Oilers.
I have all sorts of confidence now with this goaltending and this D corps.

Two thoughts:
1. Gaudreau (especially) and Monahan were great that period.
2. I really hope Dube is okay.

I missed the 1st. Glad I didn't miss the 2nd. Great period! The Flames were all over them, and the passing was hypnotizing at times. Johnny's goal was such a beauty!

big bounceback for the flames.
Marstromm really saved them in the first, otherwise Calgary would have been out for the count after the first
