2021 Cavalry FC and CPL season thread

Listened to the interview, thanks for posting it. Tommy talks a lot about perspective in it. 6 games into a long season. Good for me as a fan to hear. He also talks about how goals across the league have dried up. Lots of nil nils or 1-0s with a penalty as the only goal lately. The atmosphere of the bubble is getting to players and goals are hard for everyone

Tommy can’t stop gushing about Luca and I’m pumped. I can’t wait to see him at Spruce Meadows. August 3rd can’t come soon enough

This ref is starting to lose the plot here. First the hilariously weak yellow on Selemani, and then the yellow on the Wanderers player. Obviously, I’m biased in favour of the Cavalry, but that was a foul on Trafford if not a yellow.

It’s much more effective and they’re much more threatening. It does seem to neuter Escalante though. Or at least he’s been really quiet this far.

Does this imply that's a home match?

I'm kind of bummed we wont get TFC. As a fan, it would be cool to see them line up against Cavalry sometime. And what better time than when TFC is in utter shambles, and a loss to a CPL team would fit the storyline of their season perfectly.

Looks like our season ticket barcodes have been activated and are available in the CPL app.

I noticed in the email that the merchandise discounts are back for 2021. I tried this out at the online shop, and confirmed this worked. To use your discount, just enter your account number in the Discount section.

I also noticed the following in the email that indicates that we have 2 extra games included in our 2021 season tickets. Wasn't expecting 2 extra games, so for me, this is a nice add.
