Miracle to come out of that period up 1.

On the positive side, Backlund is all over the place, he's really engaged, and we've kinda been waiting for that. Looch and Bennett having nice games. But the defence, man it's like the Stars are just skating in confusing whirling patterns and the Flames don't know what to do. It's like when the Sedins used to just run around and you'd watch defenders crashing into each other cartoon-like.

I'm disgusted with Gaudreau. I've bitched off and on about his play, the "does this guy have broken ribs or what?" version we've seen for about a year... but this takes the cake. His effort in the D zone is so poor, and in the O zone it's not much better. He could sit for all I care, he's my new James Neal for this playoffs.
