If you’re dumb enough to be in the O&G industry and still vote NDP that’s just natural selection.

Yeah because why would working people want a government that tries to help working people, especially when they work in an industry with a well documented history of trying to suppress workers rights.

This stuff is comical to me, the Conservatives got nothing done for over a decade on the pipeline file. Worthless cheerleaders who can't see reality do no one any favors. Industry can barely get insurance companies to cover their operations going forward, largely because we've had defiant government doing the minimum.

This is so disingenuous the UCP did everything they could before a senile US President and his handlers killed the pipeline first day.
Just remember the pipeline is still there crossing the boarder.

Like betting on Trump winning by flushing $1.3 billion down the toilet? Quite the gamble. Thanks for trying, Jason.

Kenney was such an idiot there. He knew KXL was dead with Biden as POTUS. Buying a dead pipeline was such a moronic move. But yeah, sure, that kind of gesture is probably applauded by some less critical minds.

Trump was President for 4 years and approved KXL on the very first day in office. Nothing happened for 4 years with Republicans in office. Nothern Gateway and Energy East withered on the vine in Canada, until Notley and Trudeau made a deal on emissions and built us a pipeline to tide water. You can deny reality all you want, but those of us who lived 7 years of #### in the industry saw what oppositional defiance brought us, soundbites about fighting for Alberta and nothing else.

Wait, you mean the correct response to legitimate workplace concerns isn't "Shut up, you're lucky to even have a job!"
Hmm.... A decade of my life in O&G completely wasted

Maybe the next wave of layoffs will be delayed. Suncor systems have been down since last Thursday. Rumor is Russian hackers.

Right before the layoffs this week too. Lots of people spent the weekend panicking that they're gone when they couldn't log in to anything on Friday
