What’s interesting about the Supreme Court is that Justices become more liberal and conservative based on who else is on the court.
It would be interesting to read through the reasoning of Roberts dissent in the Texas case which also limited abortions via various measures vs his majority vote in this one.
The recent set of court rulings which have included both Gorsuch and Roberts siding with the liberal side of the court across a wide range cases gives hope that the Supreme Court is still upholding its duty.
Edit: did a little more reading and Roberts uses the argument that the Supreme Court already decided the Texas case and this case isn’t any different so the precedent of the court stands. That is some good jurisprudence.
We have the Green candidate, Howie Hawkins. I found this interview pretty interesting as a choice for progressives. And he has a black female running mate!
I can't quote for some reason but going back to the speculation about whether Trump will run or not... James Carville says there's a better chance Trump drops out than he gets re-elected. Says that someone should sit him down and tell him he runs a huge risk of being humiliated if he runs again.

Twitch, the video streaming service popular with online gamers, has suspended an account belonging to the Trump campaign, becoming the latest tech platform to take action against President Donald Trump.

I was terrified of that mountain climber when I was a kid. We would have to change the channel when it came on. I don't know what it was that creeped me out so bad.

If Trump didn't have so many criminal problems awaiting him I might buy him withdrawing, he's on track for a humiliating loss and we all know his ego will never take it. But I can't imagine he doesn't exhaust every cheating option before giving up.

$15, $25 and $35 would win it pretty much every time back in the day.
Reddit bans most of Donald Trump supporters subreddits, including "the_donald" for hate speech along with the Twitch ban earlier. Now if only Twitter and Facebook banned him too... he can finally have his meltdowns by himself in his Whitehouse bunker and no one will know.

Reddit, one of the largest social networking and message board websites, on Monday banned its biggest community devoted to President Trump as part of an overhaul of its hate speech policies.
The community or “subreddit,” called “The_Donald,” is home to more than 790,000 users who post memes, viral videos and supportive messages about Mr. Trump. Reddit executives said the group, which has been highly influential in cultivating and stoking Mr. Trump’s online base, had consistently broken its rules by allowing people to target and harass others with hate speech.
“Reddit is a place for community and belonging, not for attacking people,” Steve Huffman, the company’s chief executive, said in a call with reporters. “‘The_Donald’ has been in violation of that.”
Reddit said it was also banning roughly 2,000 other communities from across the political spectrum, including one devoted to the leftist podcasting group “Chapo Trap House,” which has about 160,000 regular users. The vast majority of the forums that are being banned are inactive.
“The_Donald,” which has been a digital foundation for Mr. Trump’s supporters, is by far the most active and prominent community that Reddit decided to act against. For years, many of the most viral Trump memes that broke through to Facebook, Twitter and elsewhere could be traced back to “The_Donald.” One video, “The Trump Effect,” originated on “The_Donald” in mid-2016 before bubbling up to Mr. Trump, who tweeted it to his 83 million followers.

My cousin and I thought Bob Barker was the devil incarnate. Tempting people with material goods, in exchange for souls!

What's creepy about a Swiss man singing as he walks of the edge of cliff, committing suicide in the name of capitalism?

r/TD has been dead for a while...a lot of MAGA users have gone to r/conservative and r/conspiracy.
Take a browse through those two subs if you're feeling bored. Some insane #### haha
They also have a dedicated forum elsewhere. I don't remember the name but it was pinned to the top of the page. It's real brave of Reddit to shut them down now that it's a ghost town.
Oh yeah, he’s still unimaginably terrible, but seeing him do anything that doesn’t copycat Trump is notable. It’s probably the most rebellious thing he’s ever done.
It's odd and probably a coincidence but Moscow Mitch also made a statement today that, "we must have no stigma - none - about wearing masks".
From pandering to Putin to abusing allies and ignoring his own advisers, Trump's phone calls alarm US officials
Quote:
In hundreds of highly classified phone calls with foreign heads of state, President Donald Trump was so consistently unprepared for discussion of serious issues, so often outplayed in his conversations with powerful leaders like Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Erdogan, and so abusive to leaders of America's principal allies, that the calls helped convince some senior US officials -- including his former secretaries of state and defense, two national security advisers and his longest-serving chief of staff -- that the President himself posed a danger to the national security of the United States, according to White House and intelligence officials intimately familiar with the contents of the conversations.
