No, he got the benefit of the doubt, a young up-and-comer, raw, but talented. And he can skate. But his defensive game is not real great. Feels like the guys coming up through the Heat are much readier/smarter than Hanifin is.

I find Hanifin sometimes reminds me of Jyrki Jokipakka. He doesn't yet have a ton of poise.
