Agree to a certain extent. Burke was right about Johnny when he commented on how he allows frustration to get him off his game.
He has to be a lot mentally tougher and more willing to be a team player.
Johnny was a positive difference maker on the PP tonight.
Why?
He moved the puck.
He was a huge factor in quick puck movement and not over handling the puck. In essence, team success became more important than him being the quarterback and “over handling the puck.”
I don’t think the coaches changed the PP strategy.
I believe he bought in to the scheme.
Baby steps but a big change.
