Bleeding or not, the fact that he didn't even leave the ice tells me it shouldn't have been a double

That Backlund sh goal may have been the best cheer I've ever done live. Wow, I shut up about 79 Duck fans, awesome. The tide has turned, this game is ours.

Obviously not a great period, but thanks to Backlund the damage was minimal. We're in this. Just need a strong kill to start the 2nd and get back on the forecheck. I have a feeling Elliott will shut the door for the rest of the game.

I sincerely hope we collectively take a lesson from this first period.

Mods maybe we need to implement some sort of prerequisite IQ test before signing up.

Good period and great job by Frolik and Backs. We needed that to get some momentum!

Can someone encourage management to have a chat with Brouwer?

And while their at it, have someone tell Conroy to go apologize to Tkachuk and take the leash off

3M Line baby! Tkachuk with the penalty, Frolik with the assist, Backs with the goal!

Every time I hear Hughson call a game I fully expect to hear "Great save Tanev!' followed by a long, awkward, pause.

That goal postering was like dropping off my 4 year old daughter, I've had tougher times convincing my dog that was a ####ty power play.

I usually just watch the game and try and stay out of the board, but wow people getting a little silly. Kind of like kids throwing quick tantrums when mom's not giving everything they want.
