I blame this on Benning and Weisbrod. They lost Canada the tournament when they released Virtanen.

This has to be one of the worst and dumbest Canadian WJC teams I can remember.

Raffi Torres IMO. Both taken top 10. Both fast, gritty players who have a good shot but don't have a complete offensive arsenal and make some dumb dumb plays.

Good for Finland, they deserved to win and Canada deserved to lose.

Some incredibly selfish players with dumb plays, as well as poor coaching cost Canada the game and the tournament.

Terrible coaching, our leaders and best players were terrible (JV.. MM showed up late too but good in this game for stretches only) and of course horrifying goaltending.

Good for Finland, they deserved it.

At least we beat Switzerland and Denmark...brutal but it is good to see so much parity in this tournament instead of a bunch of push overs

They deserved to lose a victim of their own stupidity and emotions. But that is what makes this tournament fun to watch, its never dull. Good on the Fin's for not giving up when they went down early. This is sadly the outcome I expected, a high score game where they lost by one goal.

Other then screaming at my TV at times it was still a fun game to watch.

Coach can only do so much, he has guys like Virtanen to work with... Yes some choices probably could of been different, but controlling players emotions and stupidity is a whole other thing, he can't mind control them.

This wasn't as talented a Canadian team as years past but with a better coach they may have done better as Lowry has to be the worst coach in some time to lead this team. Simply never had a handle on this team.
