Wish Wideman would have taken a slapshot from 5 feet out and not tried to force a pass

Wow, that Sportsnet Connected host on the left looks like an animation. Bit too much makeup?!

Flames have been the better team, period.

One bad goal and one bad play by everyone is why it's tied.

Like they just said on air, he was probably just thinking "make the save". Asking Ramo to have natural instinct rebound control with how few games he has been getting is kind of nuts.

Raymond was already deep before Brodie pinched. He can't cover when he's already gone in.

I don't like how engelland seems to be on the ice whenever the Monohan line is on the ice. I understand that Hartley is trying to use the last change to match up the Monohan line against their 3rd line and the same with the engelland pairing... But it is very frustrating to see the worst puck-mover on the whole team out there with the best offensive forwards on the whole team. He struggles just to get the pick out let alone make a nice outlet pass. I know he has an assist tonight but that came after 3 give-aways in the flames' zone.

Canucks are taking advantage of the turnovers we give them. Raymond should have been covering for Brodie when he pinched. Ramo is not at fault for the goal.

Play a smarter game with the puck and we win.

If the Flames lose tonight when does Ramo play again?

There have been lots of games where the Flames have outplayed the Canucks and still lost. Just beat this freaking team, please. I don't care how.

Actually that whole play is avoided if Brodie doesn't throw a pass back towards the very spot he just left....really bad decision.

Yeah that was a terrible pass by Brodie. He deserves the brunt of the blame for that goal and Ramo just didn't play the shot well.

I'd say 2 bad goals. Ramo hasn't made a big stop while Miller has at least 5 huge ones.

Yeah, the more I watched it, the more it's on Brodie. Just a bad, bad pass that got picked off. Tough to blame Raymond after seeing it again.

No, it's asking him to be an NHL goalie. It's not "natural instinct rebound control", it's ordinary NHL goaltending. It was a mistake, and the main difference between him and Hiller. Ramo is always just a little more out of control, Hiller is quieter in the net.

Raymond needs to watch what's going on with his teammates. Brodie starts to pinch and Raymond moves to cover the point - which he didn't.
