The 240 FPS super slo-mo feature is ridiculously cool, and amazingly high quality.

iPhone 6
A couple hours of streaming Spotify an hour or so of Netflix. Usual text, email and some web surfing today and I am at 70%. The battery is really good.
One thing... My beard hair gets stuck in the tiny gap between the aluminum back and the glass.

Anyone know who might be selling the non-glass screen protectors fitted for the 6? I purchased the invisible shield glass from best buy, but $50 is a little steep. Havent seen just a basic plastic one anywhere yet.

It's been 24 hours since I plugged in my iPhone 6 and I'm at 42%. Plenty of browsing, spotify streaming, and a bit of Clash of Clans. Neither my 5 or my HTC One M7 came anywhere near this.
Think I've got a defect though. In portrait mode the touchscreen intermittently becomes unresponsive. Anyone else have this? I feel like it's probably a remote issue because if 10 or 12 people had this problem it would be #touchgate.

I pre-ordered a 6 plus. Basically out of space on my 5S and terrible battery life.
If I don't like the size of the screen I will use it for a year and sell. While it is a ridiculous size, I think you adjust and the iPhone 5S is small. Maybe I should post the listing now.

So I downloaded 2.3Gb from my match account to my phone last night while at 12%. By the end of downloading I still had 2% left :O.
On a side note: Does anyone know why itunes match has a hardtime recognizing some songs? For example i have an album downloaded, its available on itunes its tagged correctly and most of the songs matched excpet a few. WTF?

I find Match to be a brutally inconsistent and half-baked service from Apple. It feels like every time I use it I have about a 60% chance of it working. At this point the only thing I use it for is the Siri integration is nice while I'm driving.
I made the switch to Google Music and it's been pretty solid. Uploading music into it is a little janky, but I made a dropbox folder that my library watches, so I just drop stuff in there and it shows up right away. As with everything Google it's free, so there's savings there as well, and the iOS app is pretty solid.
My iPhone has made the arduous trek from Shanghai, to Anchorage, to Kentucky, and now to Seattle. It always surprises me how far these things travel.

I don't have the 6 myself, but my gf does. The battery life is ridiculous. She uses it a lot and when I get home my s3 is dead, when she gets home she has over 70% left

Yes, you can get rid of the HD copy. Like I said, my biggest complaint is that it's a bit odd to get music into it. You need a small, dedicated app to get them uploaded. At least you can allow it to watch a folder, so I just use a dropbox folder so I can use it on any computer I happen to be at. Wow I feel dumb. Turns out you can just drag and drop songs to the browser window. For some insane reason I never tried it.
The main difference is that it actually works, while with Match I was never fully confident anything was happening at all.
Other complaints include no dedicated player, so you have to use it in browser or in app. Also, it doesn't seem to work in safari. I'm in the process of switching to Chrome as my dedicated browser, so that won't be such a problem.
If those issues don't bother you too much, I recommend giving it a whirl.

I finally got the chance to take a look at one at the Apple store the other day, and like the feel and size of the 6. The price difference between here and the US is about $100. Anything to worry about if I pick one up in the states while I am there on a trip?

Yeah, I am charging mine every 2-3 days. I am not a heavy user, but I always have bluetooth on, and usually spend 2-3 hours a day on mine, and stream music in my car, and at the gym at least an hour a day as well. Also the screen makes a world of difference for Nav.
As a whole package I am really impressed with the phone. The only complaint I have, is you cannot use it in one handed stealth mode like the 4 and 5, where everything is reachable with a thumb, and you could just quietly use it under a table or desk without anyone noticing. The reach feature is neat, but it still doesn't have that same one handed ease of use as the 4 and 5. So maybe Apple had a good point with that commercial everyone was mocking. In the real world, it was a very handy 'feature' or aspect of the smaller screen. I have already dropped mine twice trying to one hand it (thank god for the case) and I have hands big enough I can palm a basketball.

Agree with pylon as far as one handed use goes.. That's about the only thing I miss about my 5S.
The third party keyboards are downright brutal. Between having to constantly go into my settings and turning them off and back on due to them simply not showing up, or having a ton of glitch issues, I ended up just tossing that idea for now and going with the stock keyboard.
May also be a result of what I assume to be a glitchy phone, I've had multiple instances of apps crashing (tapatalk, Facebook, Google Chrome and wickr being the worst offenders) at random, even just sitting there open with no input. Also at least a few times a day my touch screen goes unresponsive, usually in clash of clans, and I have to rotate the phone a few times to get it working again. Not sure if this is a glitch in the game, if my phone is a lemon, or if baby Jesus is simply telling me to get a life.

A couple of things - I am going down there anyway, and not in desperate need of a phone right away. Plus I already have US funds.
My question was a bit more about the technical aspects; whether all models are identical, or would I need to look for one that is compatible with Canadian providers. I thought that was the case last time with the 5S.
