That Messi guy is pretty good.
Pretty quiet in this thread for such a big Bayern game.

I was stuck in a conference until now and couldn't watch. Seems like an ugly collapse at the end
0 shots on target? Yeah, you deserve that result

Neuer was fantastic and Barca still put 3 past Bayern. Pretty incredible stuff.

I'm a huge Barca fan, and it goes without saying that I love Messi's play. But even though I think he's definitely one of the best players to ever play the game, without a World Cup title I don't think he will ever be considered as such. Definitely a class above the diva.
Just had a chance to watch the game, great result and even better that there was no away goal. The crowd sounded like they were into it the entire match. The second leg will be interesting and I hope that Barca doesn't pull a Porto and blow their lead. If any team can come back from being downed it's Bayern. Porto isn't as strong as Barca but still, never get over confident with a lead at this stage.

Bayern's toast.
Down 2-1 after the first, and 5-1 in aggregate.

Barca's front 3 are basically unplayable.

A valiant effort. They did manage to score 3 times on Barca, which is no small feat. Had they held Barca off and not allowed the away goal they might have pulled it off.

Two were scored after Barca had a 5-1 aggregate though. Have to think that Barca was sitting back at that point.

The comeback wasn't going to happen but I'm glad they won today. I love the guy but I don't think Lahm should be in the midfield over Schweinsteiger, Martinez, Alonso. He should go back to RB where his overlapping runs can really be used.
I hope Bayern adds a couple young wingers to have some depth when Robbery inevitably gets hurt and to take over in a year or two from them. Goetze is not the answer on the wing, I'm not even sure if he should be in Bayern's long term plans anymore. I'd rather play Thiago or Muller ahead of him in an attacking midfield role

The game was over, Bayern would have had to win by 6-2 at least to win this game which wasn't going to happen. Credit to the Bayern players for not giving up on this game once it was lost, and also to their fans, they kept going all night!
Ter Stegen made some great saves for Barca, especially in the first half, and the Trident gets it done again. Those 3 have only been getting better all year! They seem to really enjoy playing together which makes me excited as a Barcelona fan.
Kind of torn about what I would like to see happen tomorrow. On the one hand, I would love to see Juve take Real out simply because I can't help but hate Real Madrid. But a defensive team against an offensive team might make for a boring final. An "El Clasico" version of the CL Final might be a more exciting game. The history between the two teams and all the drama that El Clasico brings. Go Juve! lol
Forca Barca!

Good result, I prefer an offense vs defense final. Although Juve with Tevez and Pogba going forward is not bad. It's more offensive than Atletico.
El Classico in a Champion League Final would be unbearable. It would be 22 men trying to get each other sent off.
