Man this team has a lot of guts. They aren't being intimidated.

He was in position. Wideman couldn't catch the forward and didn't play him strong enough. Gio also looked like he was chasing a bit, although I thought he angled him out sufficiently.

As I said before, that's really where speed, strength, and reach come in handy.

If we can't eke out at least a point I'll be disappointed. Too bad what was otherwise a pretty good period came crashing down on that last PP.

I Have to say...it is nice to be sitting in a the doctors office and have a Sportsnet magazine that has some hockey in it...as compared to Sports Illustrated that has the obligatory article on the Rangers or penguins or American born hockey player

Sportsnet may not be perfect... but at least they cater to me...the Flames fan. unlike TSN and CBC that cater to everything but.

We are not watching the same game. So called Scoreface gets those goat horns. He's trying to be Passface ever since Tanguay left and it's not working out..

Not to mention Gio helped with the first goal and got an assist on the second?

Except Gio took a big hit to create the 2nd goal. Not sure he deserves the horns at all

Non-factor would be a compliment to his play lately. He's been a factor, just for the wrong reasons.

Well considering their game just disappeared after it was scored ...

We'll see how they come out after the 2nd intermission.
