#11 Duncan Siemens (COL)
hasn't cracked the NHL yet and has been pretty underwhelming in the AHL so far. Assigned to Lake Erie again
#16 Joel Armia (BUF)
came over last year and had 7 goals and 20 assists in 54 AHL games. Assigned to Rochester again
#18 Mark McNeill (CHI)
had 18 goals and 19 assists in 76 games in the AHL last season. Assigned to Rockford again
#19 Oskar Klefbom (EDM)
only 17 NHL games so far. Made the opening night roster though I believe
#21 Stefan Noesen (OTT)
missed most of last season due to injury, had only 2 AHL games. Assigned to Binghamton again
#22 Tyler Biggs (TOR)
massive disappointment, had only 2 goals and 9 points in the AHL last season. Assigned to the Marlies again
#23 Joe Morrow (BOS)
is already with his third NHL team (PIT, DAL, BOS). No NHL games yet, assigned to the AHL again
#24 Matt Puempel (OTT)
had 30 goals for Binghamton last season, but hasn't played in the NHL yet. Assigned to the AHL again
#25 Stuart Percy (TOR)
no NHL games yet, but has now made the Leafs roster out of camp
#26 Phillip Danault (CHI)
had only 6 goals (and 20 assists) with the Ice Hogs last season. Assigned to the AHL again
#27 Vladimir Namestnikov (TBL)
buried on the depth chart in Tampa. Very good in the AHL, but only 4 NHL games so far
#28 Zack Phillips (MIN)
had 33 points in the AHL last season, no NHL games yet. Assigned to Iowa again
And so on. The truth is that out of all the first rounders drafted behind Baertschi, only one played more NHL games than him: J.T. Miller, and he only has played 4 games more. No need to panic yet.
