^ Addon has been available for Kodi for some time now. I think I will sign up for the 7 day trial just to check it out.
Regarding 'wanting better'... I didn't want my $100 cable bill, so I know dropping that will come with some sacrifice.

On the SN site it says that's in the works.

Yep, and apparently the Sportsnet Apple TV app was updated/released today. I'm going to give it a try with the Blue Jays game this evening.
EDIT
Oh crap, maybe that was only for 4th generation Apple TVs, which I don't have.

The Kodi app won't work with the MyRogers link I had to use to sign in with.
Quality on computer is OK only.
The Sportsnet app is real bad.
Downloaded the apk and sideloaded it to my Amazon Firestick. Installed without issue. Navigation almost impossible due to the design of the app. Quality is again ok only on 55 inch screen. Not nearly as good as NHL.tv
I'll watch the game on it. Will also hook up computer via HDMI to see if quality is better than through android app.
Reluctantly disappointed so far

Yes available for the 4th gen Apple TV. I loaded it, it works well, I think the quality is good, on my 52" tv the blue jays game looked good.

Got my price adjusted! They beat it by 10%, I got $28 back. Thanks for the tip!!

See what your phone lines are wired in. Luckily mine were in Cat5e. Called in an electrician to do the ends and install a face place. Voila, instant hardwired network after adding a 24 port switch.

I think the 7/11 one's don't expire for a year and are fairly cheap. They use the Rogers network.

In the past with Sportsnet Now app, they haven't had the "Sportsnet Flames" companion channel available. So I wonder whether or not this will be included. It really should be as it is really just an overflow channel for SN1 when the greasers are also playing at the same time.
If so, it could be a viable alternative to cable if you only want to watch Flames games. If not, you'll still miss a handful of games that are on Sportsnet Flames.

Yeah, existing credit can be maintained with a $25 airtime purchase once a year, with $1.25 used per month for the 911 fee.

Yup I was watching rays feed then cut me off for about 10 mins now it's back working. It specifically said region was blacked out so maybe they were trying things.

So I cut the cable cord last month. Now I want to get Gamecentre on a month-by-month basis for the playoffs. Rogers site shows a $29 monthly pass option. However, when I go to NHL.TV Gamecentre on my Apple TV, the only option available is the $75 for half a season.
If I sign up for the monthly pass with Rogers, will that work with the NHL app on Apple TV?

I use Rogers with my Apple TV and have zero issues minus the odd weird blackout

Anybody here running in Calgary with either Teksavvy or Lightspeed now? Are they both basically identical? I assume Shaw is their infrastructure supplier, and if, as Yelle said earlier that Teksavvy is running perfectly that Lightspeed would be also. I think Lightspeed is $42/month vs $49/month for 30mbps, unlimited.
There seem to be a host of Teksavvy threads, but not much on Lightspeed.

I am running teksavvy right now and it has been pretty good for the last month. I had one time I needed to reset modem. You don't need to get their unlimited plan as they don't monitor as of yet. The customer service has blown me away. They call you before and after install plus a couple of days later to ensure everything is going properly.

Reddit NHL streams FTW. Or CBC (usually linked on Reddit. It's literally impossible to find this link yourself. I'm not sure why).
Usually a couple in HD.
