If those snot jerseys came back, the team is clearly trying to send us a message that we are certainly headed back in to the dark days again. Maybe they thought they should bring back the uniforms of those days to boot. A sort of "retro" jersey if you will.

Hmmm, Ryan Leslie just said they were going to have some good Flames news this afternoon that wasn't about the Young Stars tournament. I wonder if it's a jersey announcement?

IMO, the white 'C' looks better on the red than the black does. Not a fan of the black 'C'

If they're rolling out new thirds for this season, doesn't that mean it's likely already done? I doubt KK is gonna stop the presses at this point in time.

They'd have been done by Spring, for final NHL approval, if the same timelines as it used to be in the NHL are still in place.

There is/was the fully approved Flames 3rd from a few (5?) years ago, the KK pulled that summer on his own a few months before the season, when he just didn't think it was the right time/place.

Maybe that's the one that's popping up again?

Don't think anyone really expects anything this year, but if enough people get behind a particular concept it may inspire a full-scale overhaul for next season.

I'm all for keeping the red and black, but we've got to mix up the jersey design. No silly piping on the sides, simplify it. Stripes on the forearm. Stripes on the bottom. Different font.
Simple changes but give the black on red colour scheme a more classic feel. The more I see people posting all of these white on red concepts I almost find myself nostalgic for the jersey we already have.
The black on reds are GOOD jerseys, the retros are better, but with some tweaking I think the black and reds could go back to being FAR better than anything else the Flames have. They just have to... fix them? I don't know, I for one would like to see an interesting adaptation of the black on reds instead of all these retro tweaks.

They need to stick more flags on the jersey's. City of Calgary Flag, Stampede Flag, Union Jack Flag to honor our history, American Flag to honor our American born player, Flags of other states and provinces in case we play there, and so on and so forth. Basically, add as many flags as possible, wherever there is space, slap a flag on it casue the current ones look so good, there's no way you can go wrong.

The flags are awesome.

If the Flames come out with a new jersey that doesn't have flags, I'm probably going to sew them on myself.
