Smith has been brutal this year and the only defenseman he should be ahead of in the depth chart is Babchuk.

yeah but it's so hard to be physical these days. You don't see the Dallas defense hitting anyone either.

Smith was terrible the first game but pretty good every other game thereafter, IMO Butler and Babchuck don't do anything to enhance this team, nor does Gio half the time (this year). He must be sick or something, this isn't normal Gio, who's usually a rockstar. I hate this constant juggling of the lines though, it's really irritating and does nothing to improve cohesiveness.
