Finally caved and bought a 32gb model today, wonder how long till I'm buying another one for the wife.

What ereader are you guys using? I'm thinking Kobo's selection is a little better than iBook's.

I use iBooks and Kindle. I think I own a book on Kobo when they had a sale on ebooks.

I use iBooks and Kindle as well. I didn't really like the Kindle experience, but had to buy some due to availability. When I bought my wife a Kindle last month suddenly all those Kindle books I bought became very worth it.

I like iBooks and stanza. Mostly I purchase the kindle .mobi file and convert to ePub.

Quick question, for those of you who have purchased a dodocase for your ipad, how long did it take to ship? I ordered mine last night but it didn't tell me anything about how long it would take to deliver. Thanks.

I ordered mine on March 16th and it arrived on April 4th. I wouldn't be surprised if it was quicker than that now, as that was when it it was first released for the 3 and they had to buy a new tool for making the camera holes properly.

Mine took about the same amount of time. When it did ship they overnighted it via FedEx. I'm very impressed with their service, and I love the case.

Alright, 24 hours in and I'm having the same "Why did I wait so long?" reaction I did when I got my first iPhone a few years ago. Damn this screen is nice, browsing is fantastic and I'm enjoying the eBooks.

Now to get my website optimized for the tablet world.

Do you have a computer with you? You could pull it down via personal hotspot on your computer then update.

I would do that, but my Win7 computer has issues with iTunes drivers when I update the devices. The device always ends up in recovery mode and iTunes won't recognize it. I've tried everything to fix the issue but windows always overwrites the working drivers with some garbage that doesn't work.

It's not a significant enough upgrade to be super important, to be honest. You're not missing anything not having it right now.

I really like my Aligata case as well, but I don't like the looseness of the iPad in it (it's not terrible, it's mostly a problem with me), and I also don't like that it can't double as a stand - I'm watching a lot of MLB on my iPad these days and need to be able to stand it up.

A co-worker pointed out that I'm on my fifth case between two iPad devices, but I think I've found the one. I do freely admit to having a problem.

A few questions, as we are considering getting two new iPads (currently have never had one, but used them).

I am going away on business to the states and to the middle east for a few months- we want to use the iPads to keep in contact via skype/facetime.

1.) Does facetime work on wifi only? ie/ do you need a 3G connect and wifi, or just wifi?
2.) Can I share aps between ipads by using the same apple id, but then use a different apple id for gamecentre and facetime? (I called the apple store and they said yes, but I wanted to confirm with someone who may already be in the same situation).

I want to be able to share aps so I don't have to double purchase everything, but I still want to be able to communicate between the two with facetime.

Hope this makes sense, and let me know what you guys think? I haven't had much luck looking online, but the guy at the apple store said yes- just looking for a second opinion before we go drop a grand on electronic toys.
