Yes. I fully expect them to end with that this season.
How sweet would it be to have some Frey's being held captive by the BwB. Thoros of Myr turning to a woman in the darkness, asking what should they do with their captives. She steps into the light, revealing that it's Lady Stark with a scar across her throat. "Hang them!", followed by a black screen as the credits roll. The internet would explode after that.

I think they will have to show somehow that she is actually dead first though. In the books Aryas wolf, I think, comes across her dead body on the river bank so you know that Thoros found her and brought her back to life.
So much awesome coming up. The other thread is going to be some fun reading.
I have a gut feeling that Lady Stoneheart won't even make an appearance in the show.
Kinda depends on how important she will be in the books. I see no reason why she won't though, Beric is on his last legs in the show so they're going to need someone to replace him
Just want to comment on how much I still enjoy the opening map sequence.. Probably the only show which I don't fast forward the opening credits.
Although it bothers me a little that Harrenhall doesn't rise out of the ground and get built. (perhaps referring to the fact it is really a dead/cursed castle?)

From the looks of this preview, Sam the Slayer is about to be born:

In the Epilogue of the book, it is discovered that a re-animated Catelyn Stark is alive with the Brotherhood Without Banners, eager for revenge against those who betrayed and murdered her and her son; she oversees the lynching of two Freys who were present at the Red Wedding.
That would make for a great final scene... or the opening scene for season 4?

Yea pretty sure that Thoros brought her back with the lord of light's power.. the same thing Mellisandre will do for John Targaryen in book 6.. dun dun dun.

It was. But we didn't find that out until the next book if I recall..unless I missed something.
Even so that wasn't exactly a revelation after learning about Beric. I immediately recognized that Thoros must have resurrected Cat as soon as she was re-introduced

Yeah fair enough. Just based on how messed up she was I was kind of thinking zombie wight or something like that.
Remind how it went down. Didn't Beric give up his life and subsequent resurrections so that Thoros could bring Catelyn back? Wasn't there something about her being 'too far gone?'
