So happy to pound the Bears like that, after the last couple times we played. Jay Cutler better take out some good life insurance behind that line.

Almost looked like a tie but the DB got it. What a waste of a nice performance by the Raiders back receivers and TE. You would have thought the defence would step up but that was pretty sad.

That's football. Raiders were 'this' close. Bills converted two 4th downs.

How bout dem Raiders?

Being a Broncos fan, Raiders fans are like the Canuck Fans of the NFL.

Looking down on the Broncos for a few years now? Really? They have a whopping one more win in the last 2 years, and 2 less in the last 3 years, 5 less in the last 4 years, and again 5 less in the last 5 years. You sure about that? Both teams haven't had an impressive last few years but the Raiders have not been looking down on the Broncos, thats just a laughable statement.

Same reason I picked the Bears for 3rd in the division. The offensive line was the leauge's worst last season, and it only got worse this season. Considering Cutler got sacked 50+ times last season it goes to show how ridiculous anyone who critisized Cutler in the NFC championship game really was.

I wanted to see Wilfork take that to the house. Patriots look pretty unstoppable right now.

I'm shocked.. SHOCKED that Romo got hurt.

He's reminding me alot of Buck Pierce.

----

Also,

To Phil Simms, whatever he is watching at any given moment is the best in the NFL at doing whatever that is at that moment.

See the way the Patriots trot off the field for half-time when the 2nd Quarter expires? The Patriots are the best in the league at trotting off the field for half-time. And that all comes from their coach. Belichick leads the league in things coming from the coach. Now it is starting to rain out there. The Patriots are the best team in football for it starting to rain out there.

Tolbert tries to do too much and it leads to a Pats TD. May have cost his team the game, I guess we will see

If SD doesn't make those stupid turnovers they are likely winning this game.

The Patriots look great offensively but that defense has a lot of holes.

Damn, good thing hockey season starts for real soon. The dolphins are 0-2 losing both at home and now leave for 3 on the road, while all 3 other AFC east teams are 2-0.

Season over, not yet, but pretty damn close allready.

No team's fans have older names on their jerseys than 49ers fans.

When Harbaugh declined the penalty earlier in the game and kept the 3 points I just had that feeling that it was going to cost them later in the game and it did. Should have kept the ball and took more time off the clock.

A couple stats to chew on...

Quote:
Since 1990, when the NFL expanded to 12 playoff spots, teams that started the season 2-0 have made the playoffs 64 percent of the time, according to ESPN Stats & Information.

Since 1990, teams that have started 0-2 have advanced to the playoffs 12.4 percent of the time.

WOOOO!!!!

Huge win for the Bucs this morning! Josh Freeman gets his 14th career $th quarter comeback... Really impressed by the play of Mason Foster today. Feels good to keep up with the Saints in the division, hopefully the Eagles can do us a favour tonight.

And it was fun to see the Vikings fans at the bar freaking out in their purple Farve jerseys.

Big kudos to Romo for coming back and leading the Cowboys to that win...cannot imagine the pain he was in throwing a football and getting hit with a broken rib.

Broncos got most likely their only win of the season, and lost quite a few more players to injury
