I've provided support for every point I've made.
I'm an ignorant jerk for asking that you either back up what you say with legitimate sources instead of simply dismissing the request or telling the user to find it themselves? Are you suggesting we should just take it on faith that you know what you're talking about? Because then there is no discussion at all - any possible point you make would need to be taken on faith, because you're exempt from providing sources or evidence for your position.

Right, well here's the reality and I'm sure others share the sentiment: I'm getting tired of watching the ridiculous back and forth between you and valo403. valo403 is playing chess with a pigeon. He approaches the subject logically, then you #### on the board, knock the pieces over, then strut around as though you've won. It's a bit tiresome to watch.

Honestly Torque I should accept my share of the blame for continuing this and just stop attempting to discuss the issue with him going forward, it's tiresome for me so I'm sure it's tiresome for everyone else.

Are there issues with the Phoenix market? Obviously, and of course the revenue generated from ticket sales is not what is needed, or else all this other stuff wouldn't exist. But it's the lame-o 'giving tickets away for free in the playoffs' smears that isn't correct or fair. And there is a big difference between free and not free, and what we would pay in Calgary, or what they are paying in Chicago. Obviously they are different markets, nobody disputes that.

And there were lots of Chicago fans at game 1, but honestly less than I expected. I would say around 20% Chicago fans, the rest Coyote fans.

Man, I wish I could just write my university papers without referencing any sources and leave a note for the prof telling him to do his own damn research. What a life it would be.

Your argument, your burden of proof.

Though I'm sure we'd all appreciate it if you would just go away and let the adults talk now.

Funny, I noticed a lot of Blackhawks fans in the road white sweaters and the black Coyotes jerseys.

Take a hike, you're bringing the discussion level down to elementary school yard levels.

It wasn't a childish post, it was just a statement about your level of discussion, nothing less, nothing more.

Jamison speaks:

Jamison to Buy Coyotes, Team Will Stay in Glendale

http://www.myfoxphoenix.com/dpp/spor...ndale-04212012

"I'm coming public to let people know that we really have been working on it. I know my name's been in the marketplace some, but the overriding goal has been to purchase the Phoenix Coyotes, to have them stay here, in Glendale, for a long, long time and to try and continue to build on what has occurred here and continue to try to grow the franchise, grow the fan base and grow all the things that go with that. So, yeah, I would say we spend a few days working on this situation and we feel very strongly that the group we're putting together I think, believes in it..and believes it can happen and something we continue to work at every day," said Jamison.

Alvarez questions mayor's behavior and 'attacks' on various departments

Coyotes bid: Canadians and Phoenicians have differing views of sale

http://www.bizjournals.com/phoenix/b...article_search

http://goldwaterinstitute.org/blog/g...ns-raise-taxes

Instead of looking for ways to cut arena operating costs, city officials are considering a 0.8% increase in the sales tax. This would make Glendale the city with the highest sales tax rate in the nation. It would also be enough to cover the $20 million city payment for Coyotes hockey next year.

http://www.glendalestar.com/news/art...a4bcf887a.html

With the announcement by Vice Mayor and Sahuaro District Councilmember Steve Frate that he will not seek reelection, the following candidates answered questions about issues facing the city. Following are their responses.

Reading that last article... Wow, a SUBURB of Phoenix is $1.1 billion dollars in debt. I'm freaking out about a 600 dollar Visa bill that's a month late and these clowns are running a thousand million dollar tab...

"I can tell you straight up the NHL is committed to this marketplace, like Gary Bettman has worked very hard to have this team stay here and has wanted it to stay here and I know the city of Glendale has worked hard. So based on those two things and both of those have been good partners to work with and deal with..we just looked at it and thought, you know, let's explore a little bit farther and the more we looked at it the more we thought with some of the things that could happen and maybe turn around with the new collective bargaining agreement which is going to happen in September of this year, that it has a real strong potential and we thought let's pursue this and get involved and see where it goes and that's what we've done and we've come to this point today where it's certainly is not done yet, but we're making some progress and we'd like to hope and believe that it can get to the finish line."
Doesn't sound very convincing.
