I finish my exam and look at the match stats. All I saw were yellow cards. Were there really that many fouls worth a card?
Ran home just to see Gomez score! Huge goal!
Screw you ref, that is not a foul...

Very entertaining game, not done and dusted yet though.

Lots of chances, overall I thought Bayern was the better team but they're only carrying a one goal advantage into Madrid so the tie isnt decided.
It was Howard Webb reffing so its going to be all over the place.

Just finished watching that game...Marcelo was lucky not to get the red, terrible challenge, late and directed at the knee.

The first half was definitely more evenly matched. The second was dominated by Bayern. Madrid was content to defend the tie. This tie is definitely not done yet. If Bayern gets an early goal at the Bernabeu it will be interesting.

Just reading Fabregas' comments about the 'long-ball Blues' and he was commenting about Barca playing Real on the weekend.
How pathetic is La Liga? A 30 point gap between 2nd and 3rd? They're going to have to seriously look at restructuring that league, too many weak teams.

I personally like the German Bundesliga the best because it's a dog fight for large chunks of the season and any one of a bunch of teams can win it any given year.
Barcelona or Chelsea? Don't particularly like either club. I just hope it is entertaining and that the acting is minimal, though I seriously doubt it will be with these two clubs

Drogba is hilarious. Barcelona is flopping all over the place too. Impressed with the ref so far. The fouls he has called have been fouls and he's not getting fooled by the flops

I believe in the Jays.
|
Drogba's stat line is about 6 dives, 5 offsides, and now 1 goal.
1-0 Chelsea.

Scoring Winger

After somehow being able to flop more than Busquets, Drogba makes it 1-0 just before half time

Barcelona is holding a great line but getting really lucky with it too. They are completely neglecting to mark their guys and Chelsea just needs to delay their runs by a split second.
Barcelona had a couple chances but otherwise they didn't have too great a half

Agreed. Puyol had to come to the rescue too many times that half. That being said its been an even game just Chelsea put away their chance.
