His followers and the crazies are still at it though. On one of their message boards they are doing funky calculations about how March 9th 2011 was 42 weeks after May 21st last year because of a bunch of random numbers in the bible about 500 people getting killed and how long they were left in the streets to rot or something...

Practically every week they are coming up with new numbers to try to find hope that they are going heaven soon.

The one good thing I learned from the otherwise radical right-wing Tom Flanagan was about the cult mentality and how cognitive dissonance works to keep people believing in something even after it's been disproved by every conceivable measure. Nothing rings truer whenever these events happen time and time again.
