How does that relate to the fact that they can't use light blue for an alternate uniform with the Titans blocking it?

Sour grapes. The Texans have a legit QB. The Titans don’t.

This seems like the Adams family being petty. It's too bad because I like the look of the vintage Houston Oilers uniforms, but they just look wrong on the Titans. That said I don't care for the Titans uniforms one bit, so maybe they want to keep one good looking uniform in the fold.

They have been in no-man's land for the better part of the last decade. It doesn't matter how many 12 win seasons they accumulate as their season is always going to end in playoff failure.

Surprised to see Bengals stud DE Trey Hendrickson has requested a trade (Bengals already said they won't do it).
Come home, buddy, come home...

I guess what I don't understand is if he wanted security of a long term deal why did he settle on a one year extension last year? He really has no leverage here.

Once you pay the QB...hard to give everyone else more money. Higgins, Chase, and Hendrickson finding that out first hand now. The teams not as cheap as they think...they need to find a way to protect that meal ticket.

Yeah exactly, it's the same reason he got squeezed out of New Orleans after 2020...also because he didn't break out until year 4 contract year, so the cap-strapped team decided it was a fluke and let him walk, which was a disastrous move. He's exactly what they're missing on D.
Curious if Bengals will pay him, he's been a beast for them.

Dallas is in tough with Parsons, Lamb and Prescott all due raises. No way they can keep them all.
Curious to see what they do at the draft. Could be a sign of who they hold on to. I let Prescott go personally. He's a mediocre QB with inflated numbers.

Tough to say. Defensive ends aren't quite as impactful as a comparable tackle. Teams can scheme away from a guy like Maxx Crosby more than they could from Aaron Donald.
At this point Hendrickson off an injury at his age likely profiles more as a pass rusher than a true 3 down player. So he's more a good complement than he would be a focal point.

Everything they haven't done this offseason is signaling that they're giving Dak a year to prove he can get it done without an elite supporting cast or they're moving on in 2025.

Dak has a provision that prevents him from getting the tag next year, so if he balls out this year the Cowboys are gonna still be in tight against the cap while trying to re-sign Dak on the open market. That's why I am confused by their offseason, they should be making more all-in moves since either Dak sucks and they are rebuilding, or he's great and they can't afford him, and they'll be pretty much rebuilding.

Is it possible that Jerry Jones hasn't got a clue?

Maybe Dak's actually one of his illegitimate kids, and he just wants him gone?

They flat-out do not have the cap space to make splashy moves. They only have about $6M in effective cap space for this year.
They could restructure Diggs, Lawrence, and Steele to free up space, but really the only one of those guys you'd want to kick the can down the road is Diggs. Lawrence is clearly in decline and Steele is replacement-level.

A clip was trending on Twitter yesterday of Jones basically admitting he didn't know their cap situation, it was pretty damning.

Caleb Williams is already the most annoying player and he’s hasn’t even been drafted yet.
