They have the Doctor quote the speech from Picard in the Drum Head, and they completely F'd it up, like they cut and pasted it and erased half of it. Lets see which one is a speech that makes sense, and which one is the babbling of a Hologram Doctor
Drunk Doctor -"With the first link the chain is forged, the first speech censured, the first though forbidden, us all, irrevocably"
Picard - "With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."
Just unforgivable
Suddenly our Convict knows every piece of Federation Law and is a master debater.
And somehow in the first 4 classes, we've seen classes on Empathy and Activism, and the Debate Club, and a lame "War game, where they had to shoot a thing, and the hologram is invulnerable to weapons fire, and their strategy should have been, hey hologram walk over there and shoot that thing and we win. This isn't a academy to build future Star Ship Captains and explorers. Its a middle school.
Also add on last week, with the hologram she got beamed into water and she was blowing bubbles. Holograms don't God Damn Breathe
Back to this episode, they spend 8 to 10 million an episode, and yet they have cadets walking around in 2026 clothing and the Klingon Home World looks like Earth and filmed in somebodies back yard.
I'm hearing that the numbers are so far down on streaming, that its not even in the top 10 on its own platform.
This show has to be AI written, because no group of writers can be this moronic.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
I thought this week's episode was the most "Star Trek" one so far. Klingons and Prime Directives and all that.
Of course, that didn't make it good.
I would agree with both statements. Its as close to 'Trek' as they've come so far but they did it so ham-fistedly it was still quite very bad.
Again though, and I think I'm going to be harping on this every week...why are so many characters completely unintelligible?
Having the Klingon debate was a joke, he can barely speak. The scene between Jayquon and the Jem'Hadar lady was essentially wasted run-time, and then of course the usual gripe with Holly Hunter.
