Fox News anchor Bret Baier apologized on Friday for reporting that federal investigators had determined that Hillary Clinton’s private email server had been hacked and that an investigation would lead to an indictment of Clinton after the election. In fact, Baier said, after checking with his sources, there is no evidence at this time for either statement.

Baier said he relied on a single anonymous source within the FBI for his report about an alleged hack of the server: “I was quoting from one source about his certainty that the server had been hacked by five foreign intelligence agencies. . . . As of today there still are no digital fingerprints of a breach, no matter what the working assumption is within the bureau.”

I don't want to get into a big discussion about it or derail the thread but insults at the entire forum are something the mod team is pretty intolerant of; I mean if you're at someone's house and you deride their house and furniture and insult their family and guests, eventually you'll be asked to leave no matter how good a conversationalist you are.

Isn't it funny that CNN continues to employ a Trump operative with the most questionable of character. Yet they sacked Brazille at the drop of hat for doing something pretty benign. The media is so in the bag for Clinton.

I didn't say what she was sacked for was not worthy of termination. I think she deserved it. But compared to Corey Lewandowski? Brazille was a saint. Neither should be on CNN or associated with any journalistic enterprise. They are both political hacks and should stick to that aspect of their trade. CNN needs to spend more on talent to get stories rather than manufacturing them.
