I felt so stupid at times during this game. With all the different levels an secret players and hidden talents: can someone please tell me I'm not a ####ing loser? And that it was a really hard game... if they're all this complicated, I'm not sure if I will ever want to play again.
About the turtle sex: I felt we needed some comical relief when it got too intense. I was trying to add "flavor" haha! It's just that I'm a little warped....

It was a crazy game Puxlut, don't worry. The next game will definitely be much simpler!
PS. Captain, the Arson worked...but Puxlut targeted the wrong person with it so it fizzled.

CC: the only eternal power that worked was when i got shot.
When rathji had one i was holding onto your last letter. If rathji had chosen me i would have shot him first

to be honest, when that happened, I physically did an evil eternals fist bump with myself. Kind of hard to explain.

It was hard Pux. You aren't a loser. We also were first time players in a game with more twists then the other ones. I think it's more an accomplishment that 2 newbie players made it to the 2nd last and last day. We had to have done something right.
You gotta come play again! Just please, don't destroy my childhood anymore. I loved Bowser as a kid.

We did it CaptainCrunch. Victory is ours.
I wasn't sure what the concept of "The Guardians" was suppose to be so I adopted a corporate restructuring theme since the organization "changed leaders" then somewhat ditched that too into a more general "organization that sometimes likes playing smash bros."
My general strategy was basically just try to tempt people in joining in exchange for power roles. I didn't use too many PR threats, opting to adopt an "attract more bees using honey" strategy.

That's funny, I figured poison and more or less that was what it worked out as.

I think the biggest reason the guardian side won was your powers worked early whereas the eternal kills failed early.

Sorry I had to bail on the game. Unfortunately, personal stuff very much got in the way.
Things I was planning on offering:
- 2 for 1 Taco Tuesday
- A coupon for a free Salsa dance lesson
- The ability to reverse time (not in-game, but in real life. Who would turn that down?)
- Backstage passes to a concert of your choice
- The ability to read my mind for 24 hours (more of a curse, really)
- A personalized short story involving you and a donkey
- The power to know who killed you
- The chance to experience true love
- Swimming with the dolphins
None of these may be true, but I can dream.
Incidentally, when I saw the theme was Light vs Darkness, I seized on the opportunity to create my silly “Guardians” group, in the hope that people would mistake it for a part of the victory conditions and join me. It would have worked too, if it wasn’t for you darn kids. Then life went wonky and it all fell apart. Thanks for picking up the ball and running with it, BigC.
But I was careful to initially only offer positive powers. Never negative. I hoped the Eternals would go with more aggressive powers, and I had plans. So many plans. But I will keep most of those in my little head. Except for Taco Tuesday. You all deserve to know about that, and to enjoy it.
I like to think I had almost 10% to do with the cult victory though. Maybe 8%.

You were absolutely awesome and a blast to play against. I did get some joy when I stole one from you.
My character really came from reading a book of short stories called the tales of the devil, which featured Satan wandering around the country side in different guises tempting people with wishes.
It was easy to expand it to the concept of an all powerful group, where you couldn't be sure if it was a group, or just one person, who talked about witnessing the crucifixion.
I really enjoyed the rp, at one point for fun I appeared to someone as Henry Fonda from in golden pond fishing while making an offer in the nicest manner after burning a town to ashes.

I thought you were going to get me killed with all the Pit references and me in the flavour when he was mentioned.
If anyone googled me, it comes up Patron Deity to Pit. I about crapped myself when I read that. Figured I was dead first day, game over, thanks for coming out.

I wanted to use another Smash Bros. character for an evil aide to Master Hand since he couldn't talk, and the fact that Pit could fly made him an easy choice, and gave you a story reason to join in. It did have that unfortunate side effect of being very close to the dark stuff for you, but thankfully everyone took it as flavour and nothing more.
My plan was to bring in Dark Pit as well if needed for story reasons, but I ended up just keeping him out of it to prevent confusion.

Same here, you were a formidable opponent. I got nervous when GGG and Rathji were obliterated, that must have been quite a sight for you when that happened.

Sorry, want to apologize for being a ######bag. It was strategy.
I do think it's funny a bit because early in the game I was planning to latch onto Puxlut in a similar way that Girlysports latched onto Starseed. Say she was town, go after anyone who went after her (part of the Delgar stuff) but in the end she absolutely hates me...not that I blame her.

You'll see in our mafia thread that we interpret the hammer time a bit different, wishful thinking type stuff. 9:59:59 and then hammer drops seeing those 10:00 votes we were hoping we might get a favourable ruling on the field from Mazrim
But we weren't sure how the powers worked so on that last day when Hockeyguy15 flipped I had to do and say anything (realizing there was basically no hope) that might save us in the event of someone popping up with a kill or extra vote.
