Not sure why they ended that scene so soon and didn't show us what happened for him to get away.

It is no worse than believing that Morgan can get through roughly what 80? walkers to save D & A from the car trap.

Pretty epic tease. But I'll be watching s6e1 so I guess it worked.

I don't think Glen was bitten, if he was going to die they would have used it to end the season, not start the next one.
I thought that season was OK, the last few episodes were decent but I also missed 3 or 4 in the middle and I was able to just pick the show right up again. That is kind of sad in itself. I am hoping next season isn't as much filler and it has more progress. Pace it like Homeland and I would be so happy.
I did like at the very end how Rick had zero hesitation to shoot that guy in the head. I still can't see a community like that surviving any kind of attack. You have so many holes in your defense trying to use a wall system. Much better off trying to fortify a large building, like the prison or a factory or a Costco, something that can be sealed up and has brick walls. But these people won't trade their comfort for security, not yet at least.

I was expecting them to still show us Glen, quite possibly just barely alive or something like that. So that he would die in Maggie's arms.

So what happens when Glen gets back? Nicholas makes up some other lie as to what actually happened?
I'm actually more annoyed this year about having to wait a whole other year for this than I was last year and that was a more obvious cliffhanger. Speaks to the show being of much higher quality this year.

'Wolves Not Far'
After seeing it on the car at the warehouse I'm now thinking it's not a warning but a message to other wolves.

Great friggen episode. I'm happy that I was surprised by it and didn't correctly predict it.
The Talking Dead afterwards definitely cleared a few things up. Like how did the 2 Wolves escape the car after Morgan honked the horn. Answer: He honked the horn to check for walkers, not to attract them.
I'm not too worried about Morgan un-friending Rick because he executed wife-beater point blank. Morgan went through his own cycles of craziness before his epiphany. (Remember: Carl shot Morgan but he had a bullet-proof vest on, Carl apologized later. Morgan told Carl never to apologize for shooting someone).
I was just all in all happy with the theme of redemption, even though I thought the major war was starting this episode. Glen showed his character strength by not executing Nicolas. Sasha & Gabriel losing their minds, and Maggie bringing them both back. Of course Rick being appointed the New Sheriff in Town for the 2nd time was his redemption.

I am not sure, I still wonder why those two seem to be rag tag.
No rounds in your pistol, and they looked like hell. Why only 2 of them? They strike me as scavengers rather than an organized super group.

They don't need to be super organized to be dangerous.

The Wolves are scavengers, so they likely are short on supplies since they have over-run all the camps around them. That food store is empty and now a trap for others, they wanted Morgan's food and gear, they took down the community Noah was from.
Now they have pictures of Alexandria they are going to want their supplies as well.

Just like the Alexandrians go out in groups to scavange/recruit, maybe the Wolves send out pairings as well to perform destruction and mayhem. Perhaps the empty pistol is from a recent raid on a camp?
I doubt it's just two guys.

How did Aaron, Darrell and Morgan get in? Rick locked the door and no one was on watch. Or did they just decide to climb the walls?
Decent episode. Nicholas will likely come clean as it will be Alexandria vs the Wolves next season then again they took a season to get to Terminus and that resolved rather quickly this season.

The guard ran back to the gate after Rick came to the meeting with the walker.
Probably the same way Nicholas and Glenn got back in.

When Rick said the walker was in the town, the "guard" said he had asked Father G to close the gate. Deanna then told him to "go and check" and he took off running. I am guessing he was on the gate when they showed up.

After Rick showed up with his fresh kill, he told everyone that someone left the door open. Then Deanna sent someone to go check on it. I assume that dude let them in.
Great episode. Didn't end how I thought. I figured there would be some fracturing of the group and some people would have to choose to leave (if Rick got evicted), or stay in Alexandria.
Now its back to being one big happy family again, vs the Wolves.
I PVR'ed it, and kept counting down the minutes till a major character got killed. I even paused it near the end to check how much time was left in the episode and made the comment "Ok, who's going to die in the next 7 minutes?".
Also, I loved the suspenseful music they had going at the end when everything was going down. When Rick was fighting the walkers, when Glenn was fighting Nicholas, and when Sasha has Gabriel down at gunpoint. Really amped up the tension level!
